NOPE, It has been a historical standing that businesses may reserve the right NOT to provide service to anyone person.

If you show at a place without tie and they require one they can refuse service.

If they cater to well behaved persons and you are rowdy they can refuse you service.

your examples are for things that are required for either the safety of your customers, sanitary reasons or for marketing atmosphere, NOT because you don't agree with WHO your customers are..big difference and it's called discrimination.

Wrong. This is a common urban myth. Businesses have no right to refuse service "to anyone person [sic]." Just because someone posts a sign that claims they have such a right doesn't mean that they actually do.

Feel free to quote from and link to any law anywhere in the United States that says that businesses can refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Bad analogy. There is no right to eat in a restaurant without a tie. A business can certainly discriminate based on the neckwear (or lack thereof) of a patron.

Another bad analogy. There is no right to be "rowdy" in a business. A business can certainly discriminate against rowdy people.

Under federal law, a person doing business with the general public can't refuse to serve someone on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability.

That holds regardless of what their signs may say.

Twenty-one states and the District of Columbia have laws banning discrimination based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity in public accommodations.

Anyone attempting to deny services based on these attributes is either violating the law or running a club, not a business.

If you're sick of queers, might we suggest that you stop hanging around forums that focus on topics of interest mainly to queers?

FTA: "Ferguson had sent a letter in March asking her to comply with the law, but said Stutzmanís attorneys responded saying she would challenge any state action to enforce the law."

IMHO, this is exceedingly bad legal advice. Her lawyers are pushing her into an untenable situation. Of course the lawyers have nothing to lose. They make money whether she wins or not. And, IMHO again, she will lose.

Dear, that hasn't been true since the first anti-discrimination laws were enacted. The right to refuse service cannot be used in a discriminatory manner.

Yes dear, they can refuse service in situations such as you describe, but what they cannot do is refuse service on the basis of your race, nationality, sex, choice of religion and in Washington, your sexual orientation. Evidently you've never owned a business, or you would know better.

Really??? So I can put a sign in the window of my shop that says, "No blacks, Jews, Catholics, or divorced women will be served" and that's okay because I have "the right NOT to provide service to anyone person."??

Really??

Why doesn't your type EVER think your arguments through before you make them?

Do civil unions really do what the anti gays said they would do?

Well well well. Looks like the claims by the bigots that civil unions will do the same thing as marriage is unraveling in KY.
