I guess now the parents are regreting not having "CHILD SAFETY LOCKS" or even an "ALARM SYSTEM". Some parents these days are so ignorant. I feel sorry for the toddler but the parents brought this on themselves.
Now the parents (if that's what you even want to call the) get the live with this regret for the rest of their lives. |

Even adults drown in pools, children should be supervised at all times..they see water and they don't know the dangers of what can happen. If you love your children, take the responsibility of parenthood.

We all know that small kids can get into trouble, even when parents are with them. If you have a pool on your property, it should be as "child-proofed" as possible; whatever it takes, locks, motion alarms in the pool, etc. And if the parents are with the child at the pool, that child should be under adult supervision at ALL times. If there's more than 1 child at the pool, there should be an adequate number of adults to supervise all of the kids all of the time. With warm weather upon us, unfortunately, we're more than likely going to hear of more tragedies like this one. Please, parents, take those extra steps to protect your little ones.

The parents (DNA donors)will probably sue the pool company for making dangerous equipment.

No excuse will do. You hear year after year about children drowning in pools. Young parents or not they should have taken extra safety precautions and this would have not happened. I am curious how this toddler got out of the house in the first place. They must have had the doors unlocked. |

I'm sorry, but accidents happen. These parents are not to blame. It was a tragedy and I'm sure that they have suffered and will be suffering all their lives for an accident that took the life of their little boy. I'm sure this is punishment enough for them.
