Full story: Pasadena Star-News

Only a radio program funded by federal tax dollars could manage to take over 2 hours to record 50 minutes of air-time.

A TV show is understandable---it's a visual medium which requires a lot of set-up, etc.

What is this---Department of Motorized Vehicles Radio ?

Larry must have been in heaven, with a big goofy smile plastered across his face as he was sitting there in an auditorium among a couple thousand like-minded left wingers who enjoy such superior activities as emoting, eating arubula, cracking jokes about Sarah Palin's daughter, standing up for totalitarian regimes, and fantasizing about living in a European style welfare state.

Just as John Lennon sang, "Imagine an auditorium with no opposing viewpoints, nobody who attended tea parties, nobody who believes in American Exceptionalism, and nobody who believes that the preliminary evidence suggests that Major Hasan is sympathetic to Islamic Jihad."

Ha, ha, ha.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
