OT

saw this in the store today, you can see one of the pictures on the cover. guess the sexting wasn't enough to make him step down, but his old college cross dressing pix did the trick!

Let's regroup and get back with the mission - keeping Holly's name out there and asking why is this case growing colder by the day? The Lauren Spierer case has daily updates regarding the information that is known. I don't believe that there has been any feport that has been retracted or that has changed after the fact.

My theory goes along the lines of this being one of those "pillar" scenarios. Otherwise I don't see the whole community seemingly being submissive and quiet - almost stoical. Buy me some concrete slippers, but if I had to face off with the devil himself, I couldn't just accept that sort of fate. Please someone tell me that others won't either!

any bikers in this forum?
the TN River Riders are having a benefit ride for holly on the 25th, starting in parsons. google them or go to their facebook wall for more info. its public. they made 5k in their last run for james brennan duke memorial, a local student that died in a car accident.

Actually the facts in Lauren's case keep changing and may be victim to horrible reporting, it is hard to tell...times are changing, when she was last seen on video, what time she went where...they are half a dozen versions of everything...the media has printed wrong facts and then later "updated" their articles, leaving out the bad info but not mentioning it...

I have followed a lot of missing persons cases and i don't see that it is much worse in Holly's case than in some others...everyone wants to get their story out there first, and knowing how easy it is to edit it later, they don't worry too much about being right.

And the police in Lauren's case are holding a lot back...they have videos they won't show...probably waited too long to show the truck they are looking for...etc...

Most LE are just not experienced in handling missing persons cases, they don't seem to know how much or how little info to release and often by the time they have to give some up, it is too late to be of much use. The police were like this in Morgan H.'s case too...

Is Hohenwald in that general Parsons or Perryville area or am I confused?
Your right we need to regroup & focus on Holly. Just so many different rumors & we have little facts.
I did w/ someone today that had just spoke with a local. They said they were involved with the search in the early days. They felt like the "items" like lunch box were planted (heard this before) cause they had been in that search area before & it was not found.
They also felt like when the search would move from one area to another it seemed the search team ahead was always notified whatever this means....
I'm sure like another poster said LE is monitoring these forums....
Praying for Holly & her family.. I'm sure they feel like they have to hide behind a gate with so many people with questions, they may even be worried about Clint from what people have commented about him - they have to have so much stress in their life!!!

Think about it. What would be a reason that TBI would take lead on a local case from day 1? Why would FBI get involved as a second authority with no implications their involivng critera has been met? The biggest why is WHY would TBI take the investigation of an actively missing person private when they have never announced a POI or any strong leads? What would be worth and almost necessary to assume this position on LE's behalf? Think small town not LA.

yes, it is eerily quiet. LE not talking, the family out of sight....they might not even be staying at the home, for all we know. the gate is up, and i would guess video cameras also.

i hope those leads are still being worked and TBI is formulating...SOMETHING! either they have nothing, or they have something, and i tend to believe they have plenty, but have to get all their ducks in a row because when this comes out it will blow our minds.

I'm afraid they will do just that. I really think the local LE and TBI should be investigated. I suspect they would find quite a few palms that have been getting greased for some time now. Seems like the few who have come forward turn up missing. Is that the common denominator in all this? If we want OUR America back then those who are dirty must go down. As a people we do not stand for injustice. We stand for justice and freedom, neither of which do we have right now. Sorry about the rant but this is beyond vulgar. It's like a slap in the face of the people. It's like, don't ask questions just do as we say. That just don't sit well with me.

Like they have said "just need 1 clue" ..... That will put all those ducks in the row - know what I mean! I'm with you - quote. i hope LE is reading here! i think all the items were planted, like where the lunch box was tossed is in the complete opposite direction from natchez park. hohenwald is east of parsons about 35 or 40 miles.

venture to say you are right. when i try to reason why this case has come to a standstill as far as the public is concerned, that is only thing that makes sense. in the quest to find holly, much more was found and i'm not talking about the meth labs.

people that would talk are in fear of the drug traffickers, or the local LE. or both. and this could go higher up the political ladder.

the easy answer here is because it involves their own or an elected official or judge or someone of influence with a powerful hold on any of the first 3.

I believe it does. Think about it, as an agency the TBI simply cannot solve missing person cases. If they can't do it then why are there? I think Holly may be alive and may be protecting herself. JMO
