Husbands : would you ever stop loving your wife If she (over time) gained a lot of weight ? Even if she loves you, is true to you, takes care of you and your children?

Wives: have you ever been told by your husband that you are overweight and if so, how did you respond?

i met my wife and married her when she was big she was 5'6" and was pushing 300 lbs, then she got the lap band surgery and lost all kinds of weight, thought she was all that and something after that and left me for another man, so men arent the only ones that are sorry it cuts both ways sweetheart

Women have been saying for years SIZE MATTERS, this time its not the male size: its the females overall size. When you marry someone you owe your significant other certain things. One of which is to be healthy. Fat is far from healthy. We can't stay young forever, we can't diet and lose wrinkles but everyone (male and female) can manage their weight. It's a slippery slope when confronting others about their weight. All that aside, men are visual creatures, they like what they see. Women are emotional creatures, they like what they feel.

Divorce isn't an option. After 20 years, I'd just hit the gym hard for 2 months. Then be back to normal.

While i think it is a good idea to eat healthy and exercise sometimes we get off track for various reasons. He should help you out and encourage you positively. If a spouses weight gets totally out of control and needs to use the bathtub for a toilet, or needs a crane to get them out of the house, then i can see why someone would be upset. I just hope that your man is in tip top shape and has a six pack. If he is fat and out of shape then he is hypocritical. Women also have to look at their spouses, they should also get to like what they see.

When I got married I weighed about 235 lbs. my ex and I were together for about 16 years. My highest weight was around 300 lbs. he made me feel ugly, disgusting and unloved! I had the lap band and lost approx 150 lbs. then he left me for a fat girl... go figure.. Lol

Being told you're unattractive by the one person that is suppose to see your true beauty is very disheartening and extremely hurtful!!

To answer your question,my wife was about 120 pounds when we were married...two children and around 80 pounds later,i'm a little worried for her health...because it scares me to death to imagine my life without her!I would never directly tell her she's too big,but I do try and suggest better habits(such as water instead of soda),just for her health. Not one bit embarrased to tell you that she's the love of my life! Now for the bad news...my wife would never spew filth such as you did for being called sweetheart.Maybe there's a reason other than your weight that you two have problems?

Anyone calling me sweetheart other than my husband is disrespectful.
The F word is used by many people. Just turn your tv on and you can hear it on most channels. If it offends you, sorry. You saying that there are other problems because I curse is idiotic.

You're laying bare your personal problems on the internet, cursing for being called sweetheart, and justifying it with "it's on TV"...and I'm an idiot?Just maybe I was trying to imply that your attitude wasn't the best that it could be and not just the fact that you dropped the "F-bomb".

Actually pie is what you eat. Pi is approximately equal to 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π"
