I had a client several months back, and she was telling me about getting ready to leave on a world
mission. They were going with a church group that was going to Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile, and then over to Africa to Kenya and Ethiopia and all,
then to Eastern European countries and then
Malaysia and Indonesia, and finally to Australia.
11 months all together.

I have had that rolling around in the back of my mind ever since.
Don't know why, really.

Last stream of consciousness post for the day.

In the family dynamic, I keep drawing comparisons
of Burke and Jon Benet with Clint and Holly.

But, I don't think the outcomes were the same.
Just that their roles in the family were similar.

I get very weird vibes about KB.
Well, CB and DB also.
They just seemed so detached and squirrely, like something's up
every time you see them.
YKWIM?
i agree
Hard to hide things!
They say as little as possible.
No searches at all cause they cant search if they know she is not missing. cant waste tax payers money.

They all never are close to each other or even look at each other
no compassion or feelings lol only her one public appearance that was really bad acting!
fake tears.

They know she took off le knows she took off
we are the only ones that dont know what happened lol

Karen looks mean to me sorry
she has grown children and something isnt right.

Nothing wrong with your grown kids comming back home but to have kids that never leave?

Ricky,
This was a great post.
So many things wrong here.
First conflict about the Tuesday abduction. Are the media that
irresponsible and clueless in reporting?
No, they just parrot whatever they are told.
So, this must be what they were TOLD by someone.
The classes on Wed. and Thurs. thing was odd because I remember
when looking at the TTC schedule it was a 5 day a week, one year course 8-3 course, if IIRC.
Maybe they meant she actually was only in class those days and the other 3 clinicals at this stage. But, you're right we should focus on what they are saying. She didn't have class according to this on Tuesday, but she went missing before class on Tuesday.
Really dumb.
What about a vigil held Wed. night?
75 people showed up? What happened to the few hundred who showed
up out of nowhere in the moments after the police arrived?
It's as if sometimes in this article, like the Jackson Sun article
that they are writing about an event that is able to be changed, at will. Clint, LE, the media can all change around any alleged action, event, or time, or day or timeline to suit the expediency
with no worries about the conflicting prior accounts!
Nothing is in stone here. It is whatever they say it is!
You are right the color scheme and campaign that any PR firm would be jealous of, was rolled out with coordinating Bible verse,
T-Shirt, campaign buttons, wrist bands, seemed made to order,
ALMOST IN ADVANCE!
Did you see the other thread where the one year anniversary is going to be held as as "WELCOME HOME HOLLY" event, you know, just in case she comes home or is found in the next week or two?
What do you make of that?
Thanks G. I havent seen that yet about the "welcome home", but I will have to check that out and actually, it would not surprise me if she comes back. I had always wondered if she may have left on one of those overseas "missions" or something like that because her church was affiliated with organizations that do that, and I think we even heard where she may have went on one in the past. Whether a voluntary participation OR an "intervention-type" particpation to do her good, was always a possibility I was wondering about. South Africa would sure be a good place to hide out for awhile and not be found.

It would be great news if she does show up, but I agree that if she does, we probably will not get the "explanations" that are needed to understand what really happened. It will most likely be swept under a rug.

Totally agree.

It would not surprise me either.
And I fully expect whichever way this goes that
it's not going to been explaned to where we would
know and understand.

I think forums like this to be going on almost
a year later has caught some by surprise though.

About the mission, it's nothing really concrete,
just this funny niggling feeling I had when she was excitedly telling me about this mission tour.
And just a thought that stuck with me that, oh well, then when it's close to the year mark, I bet she will be coming back.

I have no reason to believe that.
And really, a man in her life who was a secret makes more sense.
But, at the same time, there was the odd talk about
trips and vacations in two separate contexts on these past 4000+ pages.

Time will tell.

I found the reference I had seen before about her desire to go on overseas mission trips to Belize (2nd part shown below).

From article
----------
"Through Corinth Baptist Bobo participated in Super Summer, a Tennessee Baptist Convention camp for teens, and a church missions trip to Mississippi to help people with special needs enjoy a camp."

"Bobo “grew up in our youth group,” said Franks. She planned to use her nursing skills on the church’s frequent trips to Belize. "

None of us knows what happened at all, but when reading the following part from the standpoint if you were a young adult ready to graduate and maybe trying to get out on your own, it makes you wonder if participation in the family events was becoming a little suffocating for her:

"The family sits together during worship services, said Franks. They eat lunch together after church each Sunday and hold family nights where they enjoy recreation together, said Bromley. He added that Bobo and her mother have a very close relationship."

Here is the link reference below also included, which is very interesting to read because it also mentions about the pastor also having a tragedy of his own and losing a grandson in a car accident just 4 weeks prior. Wonder if that was the same boy's car accident previously talked about or another one. How can that much tragedy in that area happen all at once.

I'll read the link later.
First, before I get distracted, I wanted to comment about all this
family togetherness.

What have you NOT seen in this case. Hundreds of photographs?
I've never seen a photo of Holly with either or her parents.

I've never seen a photo of her family together.

Are we being told a story, but one there is no proof of?
A facade for another truth?

We see and perceive the "distance" with which Clint is being held.
At arm's length.

Were there so few pictures in extant of Holly and Clint that photos of her with Drew were broadcast instead with the caption or
heading that made many think before Clint was shown to the public that Drew WAS Clint?

Perhaps it wasn't just an innocent mistake by the media.
The media didn't just barge into the Bobo home and get access
to those photos for their broadcasts. Those photos we have seen
were selected by someone and GIVEN to the media and THAT person or
person left them with the impression that this was Clint.

Was it only later, when they realized they could not just remain
shut away from the public eye that three months later the public was shocked that this was NOT her brother being depicted, but rather a bf? Whom she may or may not have been recently broken up
with, depending on who's account you believe?

The accident is indeed the one. Brennan Duke who's death just four weeks prior, is astonishingly described by Pastor Franks as
not having hit him as hard as Holly Bobo leaving her yard with someone no one no's the identity of.

Odd isn't it?

Three things that struck me in this article:

First - The timing of when she was last seen ( no mention of by whom), at 7:30am

Second - That a church newsletter would spell Philippians, as Philippines.(!!)
That the verse would sometimes be described as Karen's favorite verse, and other times, as here as Holly's favorite.
But, in any case that it coincides with the abduction date.

Third - That Don Franks describes them as a family he has known most of HIS life. But, they've only been members of his Church for
six years. I found that an odd thing to say. He's a lot older than Holly and Clint.

And of course that he found "HER DISAPPEARANCE" to more heart-rending than the tragic death of his own grandson!

I think it strange he would refer to an abduction as a disappearance, but more strange his greater emotions concerning it.
All we really know is she is reported to have walked away with someone no one knows.
We do not know if the scream came from the home. We do know that
two different people are credited with hearing it.
And we do not know if it was Holly's blood because the only time it was mentioned, Dana Bobo was gone from the stage shortly after.

Thanks for this link, Ricky!

It is absolutely very strange about the early released pictures of not being able to readily obtain one with her and her family instead of the one that was released and confused upon by all.

When I read the part about the boys death in the article referenced above, I was totally shocked to read what I was seeing. I had to read it 3 times to see if I understood it right. Since when is losing a grandson not harder on oneself than having a church member go missing. It still is shocking to read.

Also, since when was it ever mentioned at all by anyone that the pastor of their church was the Grandfather of Holly's boyfriend's best friend that recently died. Somehow, that poor kid's death seems to haunt me about possibly being indirectly related to her going missing. Afterall, he was BF with Drew, was also BF with CM who was on the phone with Clint the night before. And now, we find out maybe the pastor is related to the poor kid. It is just incredible.

I wrote a post not long ago detailing all the people just linked
to this case who have a family member who was either murdered or
died of "suicide" or other mysterious circumstances.
That too, is beyond the bounds of an actuarial probability scale!

The thing about the pastor's statements that resonate with me is that he is trying too hard to make it seem really REALLY serious.
But, we need to remind ourselves of what we know.
And that is that Holly allegedly walked away in an "unforced manner" as described by Mehr, with someone that no one knows.

I've mentioned that in all three of my last posts because it that is what it amounts to.

I have not heard either neighbor, first named as EB as the only hearer or the alleged scream to be later changed to CW as being the person who heard the scream.
That makes it shifty. No reason for THAT to have changed.
Or the time it happened. Who told the Pastor that she was last seen around 7:30? That to me is a very important question.

I've read several times that Natalie used Holly's
name and address to arrange contact with modeling
agencies.

I think that BOTH Holly and Natalie used the same address in making inquiries.

It does not make sense that Natalie would sign a contract using Holly's name.
She would need proof of ID and it would not be a legally binding contract if signed under false name and pretense.

Is it possible that both Natalie and Holly went to Florida on Spring Break and that is why BOTH Dana and Leonard are said to have gone to Florida?

Has an effort been made to keep Holly's name out of it?
Was this the trip in question that has been alluded to in the past?

Were all the many photos posted of Holly a means to thwart and kill a career in modeling her parent's disagreed with?

It is the totality of all the confusion and conflicting stories that makes this case so strange. It sure does seem like even the simplest of things in the case was racked with confusion, just like the recent searches.

First, they try to deny the searches even happened, and then there is reports from another Sheriff no less that says they found things, and then denial of finding anything.

Not a single thing about this case seems to be straightforward. So, after awhile, we have to ask ourselves, why all this confusion? Why is it happening? It sure seems like it means that certain things were trying to be hidden.

I hope we get answers some day. Gonna take a break from it for awhile. Take care for now.

I've always wondered how murders, child molesters, thieves, etc find others to join in their evil. Guess I can stop pondering on that, since I've witnessed it with my own eyes. You might as well have spit in Holly's face! You are not only not following the evidence, you needed to be accepted so badly, you are willing to follow a hateful gang. Now, you claim her church might be keeping a secret, absolutely discusting!

W17, and your other poster incarnations,
Why is it so important to you that people
believe Holly is dead?
That Holly is being held captive somewhere
in some sex trafficking ring?

You get so angry at posters who believe there
is a very good chance she is alive.

And yet you refer to me as evil?

Why is the hope she is kidnapped and killed,
rather than that she is alive, but truths are
being hidden, a preferable outcome to you in
this case?

To the point you would compare someone who hoped
she is alive somewhere, akin to Satan!

You single me out, and say nothing about Rickey,
who shares my doubts about the case.
Why?

May your hidden agenda and your secret associations with people in this case be revealed.
For you, this is personal.

Truth is not in you.
