Thank you Commissioner of Education Rochelle Hendricks. These teacher's unions have been running all over us for years. If a teacher teaches then yes they get a raise. If not they don't.

These people think that the pot is endless for them. All people really want is for people to do their jobs and not worry about their tenure. There are people all over this country right now working just as hard as these teachers and superintendents do but they are not getting raises in fact they are taking cuts. Wake up and smell the coffee!!!

Go get them Gov. Christie

It is about time someone looks into what is going on in the Districts. Exactly what does a Superintendent do?? Every school has a Principal, some with vice principals, guidance conuselors, teachers, department heads. Have you ever seen a superintendent at school meetings, conferences, etc. Why the high salaries??? If they can't accept Gov. Christie's caps. Let them leave and see where or in what other state they will make this kind of money. Maybe some fresh young blood, starting at a lower salary will really work hard to reach the new caps, it is worth a try, for our kids sake. It really is the teacher in the classroom that makes a difference in the learning process, not the overpaid administration.

First right thing Christie has done. Many superintendents dump their work on their underlings while stating they work harder and longer than anyone else in the building. They spend most of their time at luncheons, breakfasts, dinners and schmoozing with the politicos. Visit northwest warren county.
