@ Terrie.... This is absolutely damage control! The fact remains that John Miller was convicted of sexual harassment. The only reason he did these things was for damage control. He is a snake and a slime. His customers should be worried because his business is going to fail. What goes around comes around. He did this in Ada, I was his customer, and fled to Norman where he did the same thing to women. Your actions follow you and you can't run from them forever. Hopefully this forum will speed up the process of his company going broke. Have you ever seen such a public response for a copy machine company?

I want to say I am a single women whom was highly agressively chased by this man on a popular dating website. I was on the site for a month. Very much to my denial of a natural instinct...Embarrassing, but honestly true. I ignored this, because he was very persistent almost to obsession until I said "ok pick me up and lets have lunch, I figured thats safe right?" He took me to his home I thought to show me his beautiful grounds and share a quick bite and basicly attacked me. He was so attractive and yes charming AND he was not taking no for an answer. I am glad I did not want to go all the way, but it was indeed something I deeply regret. I got back to work and my heart kept telling me...he knows you work for a semi competitor in his industry, have worked for a local sports network and am affiliated w numerous sports organizations and after he realized this I never heard from him again. Snake? Hes worse than that, read the bible and you will know why God made the snake suffer, as I hope God will make this man suffer too. He lied to me because he knew I was lonely and rather good looking and told him I was not having sex and had personally chose to not have it for over a year. Of course, he took advantage of that. I am glad I did not let it get that far, but it indeed went far enough. I will never forgive myself. A sandwish at his house? We didnt make it 2 steps into his home and he was attacking me sexually. And on the internet it says seeking hot christian woman? Really what Christian puts those 2 attributes together, honestly and on line? Does he look for someones heart or how hot they are? Oh and if he finds both you will be sorry. I should have googled him. Never trust a book or a fine pair of 3000 thread count slacks and a tie and sharp convertible porshe! or John Miller for that fact. I will let God sort it out. But thought I would share. I am sure much worse has happened to weaker woman than I.

It happened to me Monday. I guess I should try and warn you I have refrained from sex for a year and he went after me in his house I went way too far. I admit but he was such a liar on ths date site saying all the right things marriage serious things pursued me like obsessively. He sd instead of going to lunch lets go to my house and we did not get 2 steps in the door and he disrespectfully was all over me to my pushing his hands away. Needless to say once he heard I was affiliated w a local sports net schools his companies competitors he never contacted me again. I am embarrassed to tell this truth but I am a good person who chose to believe he was a good person I wish I had googled his name. I only knew his name was John. Live and learn. He is worse than the snake story from the bible.

The man has never reformed and is still at it! He treats everyone like his tools in life! He's out of control! He can only cover his tracks for so long and it will catch up with him. Its time these poor women speak up! Once a snake always a snake!

I don't know JM very well, but after reading these posts I still don't get the big picture of him being a slime bag... Or where all this animosity is from. Other than losing the sexual harassment case. And I haven't read that lady posting on here. Sexual harassment cases are tricky. I'm a female and I know a couple of business owners that have been sued for nothing and lost. To the woman that went to his house...my big question for her would be ....'what if he'd called you back?' Would you be seeking to slander him? Who agrees to go to a mans house they just met...ummm from a dating site??? Sounds like you participated in the romp and got your feelings hurt bc he didn't call back. Bummer. That's a guy thing. So... What else did he do other than po fatal attraction lady? Odd. What are the antics? Please post specifics if ya got 'em.

I'm a sinlge woman that met John Miller on a popular dating site(like above). Wow. He pursued me and finally I actually felt sorry for him so I agreed to meet him for dinner. This man is so full of himself. He talked about how hot he was and how rich he was and how large his privates were! Maybe he runs a great business but personally he's a mess and I had one thought after meeting him...run. He grabbed my hand at dinner and put it on his croth and said, "It's ok to touch big john". Never, in my life have I been so offended. He talks a great talk...about how he's wants to have a family..loves God and goes to church..blah blah blah...if he's a Christian...God help us. Could not end the date soon enough and he was actually surprosed that I wasn't interested. He is not that attractive. He has to have a personality disorder of some sort..he seems completly detached from reality and onto himself. I looked him up bc I just had a gut feeling he had to have had some kind of run in with the law...VPO's, sexual harassment...stalking...run, ladies, run. He isn't that rich or hot. or interesting.

Wow, after having worked for this self-righteous piece of excrement, I can tell you that it's not hard at all to believe all the negative comments here. He and his shadow, J. Heard, are the most disfunctional idiots I have ever met. Employees don't stay long, and the ones who do are just kiss-asses that Miller and Heard have managed to intimidate. They are scared of the big, bad wolves. HA!! They are pathetic. Stay away from this business!!

Now, after having written those comments, let me say this: Everyone has the right to error, repent and reform their life. I truly hope J Miller and J Heard will do that. I tried to understand their personalities, but they close themselves inside bubbles of self-righteousness, and anyone outside is just a tool for them to manipulate. Really strange behaviour.......
I agree with the writer above in that I also believe the business will fail. It will fail when enough people (customers and employees) get tired of being treated like dirt by Miller and others in his control. That is what I saw during the time I was there; Miller and Heard are control-freaks. They also exhibit signs of being bi-polar. Sad. The blurb on the first page of their website would lead you to believe this is a stellar company to work for. Not so!! You can have scriptures all over the place, even deliver hams and turkeys to schools, but none of it matters when it's all done for vain self-glory. Miller is a man with a troubled soul, and I hope he realizes it and allows God to heal his pain. Until then, he will continue to use people in his efforts to convince himself he is as important as HE thinks he is...... enough said.

I read 'ex-employees' comments, and they sound pretty much like what I was told by a friend of mine who worked there a while back. She could not stay working for him. He would be nice sometimes, and then change back to the wierdness. She felt like he just didn't really care if he hurts people.

Unlike "Ex-Employee," I don't feel the need to hide my identity. They will know who I am. Make your own judgments about other comments given in the thread, all I have to say is THIS: I did the best job I knew how to do for this company. My customers loved my attitude and attention to detail. After roughly 8 months on the job, I decided it was time to move on, and I - in an effort to do what was right - gave MORE than a two-week notice of my intention to terminate my employment. During the time I remained, the people I worked directly with were amazed at how I maintained a positive work ethic, even though I would be leaving. I did that because it was the RIGHT thing to do.
Well, several days before my last day, I took APPROVED time off to go do some employment testing, and I asked for vacation hours for the time I would be off (approx 5 hours). The vacation time was ACCRUED vacation time that I had ALREADY EARNED, and I was never given any indication that the time would not be paid. Well, I took the time off, returned to work THAT DAY, and continued to work for this company EVERY DAY until I left.
So, 2 weeks after my departure, I receive my last check in the mail, and my vacation time had not been paid. I called the payroll manager, and - after several attempts to get her to resolve the problem - she referred me to a person who's name you will recognize from "Ex-Employee's" posts....JOHN HEARD. Mr. Heard explained that, "Mr. Miller does not pay accrued vacation time to people who have left the company."
I carefully explained that the vacation time was accrued and taken BEFORE I left the company, but he stuck to his position (or at least what he called, "Mr. Miller's" decision.)
I informed Mr Heard that the company was stealing money from me, and I reminded him that the company would FIRE an employee who would be caught doing the same thing. I informed him that what they were doing was wrong, and that he should probably take all the Bible scriptures off the walls of the company if they were going to treat people this way. I also informed him that the company would be hearing back from me, and that he may not like how it happens.
Those are the facts, and I am trying to restrain from making comments propelled by anger and emotions, because that would make me no better than them.
I am pursuing legal action against Sooner Copy Machines, Inc of Norman. Mr. Miller is apparently pretty used to that.
Pay close attention to the comments of others above, folks. They just may be making important comments that you will want to know.
