Average per child comparative costs in New Jersey K-12 districts rose to $13,601 during the 2008-09 school year, as reported by NJ.COM

And in Newark, NJ the cost is closer to $24,000 per student per year.

Just some simple math here:
$13,000 per student times(x) 30 students per class
equals $390,000 per classroom. If they pay the teacher $90,000, that still leaves $300,000 per classroom. Now I know they don't spend that much on "books and supplies". Do you?

Now multiply that by how many classrooms in a school, multiplied by how many schools in a district. WHERE IS ALL THAT MONEY GOING?

And they stand up straight-faced and tell us that the superindendents are doing such a "great" job as custodians of our tax dollars.

In Newark, it is closer to $24,000 per pupil; that's $720,000 per classroom (-)minus teacher salary ($90,000) leaves $630,000. Please show us how it takes $630,000 to run ONE CLASSROOM. Multiply that by how many classrooms in a school. Multiply that by the 74 schools in Newark.

THE LIES, THE WASTEFULNESS, THE INSANITY MUST STOP.

We wouldn't want any of these superintendents managing one of our businesses. Why aren't they in JAIL???

Gov. Christie is 1000% correct the superintendents are OVERPAID. Edison just gave O`Malley $210,000 to leave Matawan , that`s a $40,000 raise ! STOP THE INSANITY.
