Why dont we all try to stop the manufacturing and selling of meth. Everyday we see people strung out and struggling with meth addiction, yet we do nothing to stop it. This has been a problem for 10-15 years in the bootheel now and it seems that the cops cant stop it. Why is that?

You are saying it is the police that should stop it . You are saying that it is the drug that is responsible . But that is nothing more than the view of a bleeding heart liberilist talking . The facts are it is not the job of the police and it is not the drug that is the problem . It is the people . They have a choice to do or not to do . And those that chose to do it are the ones that are the problem . Not the sellers not the manufacturers . The people doing it . It doenst matter if it is a legal drug or illegal . They chose . And to give them pity or an easy out is foolish notion .
I lost a brother to addiction I watched as his world fell apart .Not just him but many others as well . you say 10 to 15 yrs . but your badly off on that . people have been ruining there lives over prescription drugs for longer than that .

I am talking about meth. And I feel it is the responsibility of the law to put a stop to it. The law says it is illegal so i would say the law should stop its abuse.

it nice to see you dont practice what you preach .

Why are we blaming the guys in her life? She has put herself in these situations time and time again. She is the one that enjoys meth just as much as any southeast MO junkie. She is the one who has a child that any normal mother would be dedicating their entire life to being with instead of out partying.
If the man in her life has hit her in the past and she kept going back to him...that is her preference. Some women like to live in "rough" relationships. Meth causes people to enjoy stuff that others wouldn't. So dont go blaming any man for giving her the meth fueled rough relationship that she wants to live. That is her choice.

I wish no harm to any child. I just wish that mothers (and fathers) would be more responsible when it comes to raising children. You would think that her family members would step in and try to help, but maybe they are meth users too. I dont really know.
I am just someone who is sick and tired of seeing parents bailing on their own kids. I am so sick of parents dumping their children on babysitters, even if they are other family members, so they can go out and get high for days at a time. I would say that parents do deserve a break now and then to enjoy their own lives, but some abuse that time.
