I am sick and tired of going to this clinic and being treated like I was nothing but a nobody. I have been desrespected for last time, by cruel uncaring staff under the current administration at this clinic. I remeber being satisfied with my visits to my doctor now it is a struggle to even get an appointment. What happened to the caring staff from years ago? What happened to the inviting atmosphere, and the genuine smiles that used to welcome a patient into the clinic. Instead of wasting money on new offices, this clinic needs to spend some money on customer service relations. Signed Fed Up.

I know what your taling about I am a patient at Parlier clinic, and have, sadly gotten used to the cold treatment. I love my doctor and would not leave him for anyother, that is why I shut up and take it. I have heard from a employee that they are spending all kinds of money but there employees have had their raises frozen. I wonder how they can do that, maybe that is why the employees are so sad. Such a nice clinic to be going through this, because of administration not caring, wonder if they got raises.

Hey, I heard that they threaten staff if they go to the board, why they do that. What are they afraid of, my old lady use to work there and she said they can t even talk to any board members and they keep them in the dark about what is really going on.

Not only that, but they have two billing employees who are out on stress leave because of all the overtime the manager was making them work due to the staff cuts they made. Now they are trying to punish them even more by putting them in more stressful positions in the front office. This is how UHC management retaliates. They stopped giving raises to their employees but have found creative ways to give managers raises by promoting them. Bea Perez was given a raise before her one year evaluation period was up in her new position as Director of Operations. Of course, she used to sleep with CEO Collen Curtis' son Andy...that's how she received all of her promotions in the first place because she certainly isn't qualified. Dr. Rogelio Fernandez can vouch for that...he doesn't even think she is qualified to be a staff nurse. Then Colleen changed Mary Lou Lopez' position as Patient Financial Services Manager to Director of Patient Financial Services (one of those creative ways to give friends a raise when no one else is getting a raise). Mary Lou then promoted two of her line workers to supervisor positions (because you can't be a director when you have no supervisors to direct). After reducing the billing staff to 15 people, they now have a director and two supervisors to oversee 12 people...and Mary Lou is asking for another supervisor for dental billing. By the way, this is the same Mary Lou Lopez that was charged with social security fraud back in 2002. She was caught cashing her grandfathers social security checks for several months after he died, but she got a lawyer and only got a misdemeanor slap on the wrist. Colleen should have fired her, but she didn't...because Mary Lou was one of Colleen's party buddies (along with Bea) at the time. In 2004, Mary Lou reported her 2000 Lincoln Navigator stolen and filed a claim with her insurance company. The truth is she couldn't afford the payments any longer and paid someone to "steal" and burn her SUV. I reported her to the Insurance Commissioner of California when I found out, but I was informed that the 4 year statute of limitations had expired so they couldn't do anything. Currently, the IRS is investigating the reason why several patients of UHC have had their identity stolen. Hmmmm...I wonder who might be involved in that? Obviously someone who is used to committing fraud.

Bea Perez recently requested salary information and received it from the payroll clerk on several employees, such as her boss Justin Preas, Rogelio Fernandez, Colleen Curtis, etc. She has no business asking for this information but it was given to her. She even laughed about it to other employees because she told them Justin only makes 25 cents more per hour that she does...and he's her boss. But she is a friend of Colleen and a very close friend of Colleen's son.

Bea also pushed and pushed for the rehiring of an employee who was fired three years ago for abandoning her position. Marilyn Rios deals in drugs, sells stolen goods and used to steal medications and intravenous medications from the Parlier site. Now she's been hired as the lead Medical Assistant in Mendota. Hopefully, they'll not put her in charge of inventorying the medications again. She also used to sell cocaine to Bea so that's probably why Bea wanted her back.

Why wasn't Justin fired after sleeping with two Kerman employee's? And everyone keeps saying to send stuff to the board members but where do we send it? The company has done a good job at keeping information from them. They have even stopped people from going to the "open" board meetings.Glad I am not working with the current Administration any more. They manage people by keeping them afraid for their jobs!

This is the kind of people who run this company, no morals or ethics, self serving, if they are not taken out this company will be another sequoia in bankruptcy and the community will suffer for it...sad

Seems to me that the powers that be think they are untouchable, but donot they answer to the board of directors? So is the board blind, maybe a new board should be elected because if they are not investigating serious accusations that former employees and the public are laying down, then they are not working in the best interest of the company

Two employees...wow! Only knew about Melissa. Then her husband divorced her and Justin's wife divorced him. The women in charge at UHC decided to keep Justin for some reason, but fired Melissa. Shortly thereafter, Justin and Bea were almost always seen going to lunch together and a lot of trips to outlying clinics for the entire day...hmmm

They are probably just friends, but that is not the point of this, it is taking back the clinic out of the hands of these people, who will bring it down.

I honestly feel that good values and morals start from the top which is management and its obvious that's not happening. if employees feel threaten and unvalued that speaks for itself. If management has a close family member working for them and employees see that not much is expected of that individual, and that there is special treatment surly they fear to voice their concern in fear of retaliation and further injustice done to them, like the possibility of losing their jobs. it's disturbing that management would behave in that manner of thretening employees due to the postion they hold. wouldn't you consider that unethical? I know that there are some employees who love what they do because of their long term commintment and dedication to the families they serve, but where is their acknowledgement? I believe that it's time for the Board Members with their expertise to investigate any concerns families and employees have to express. it sounds as though the Board is out of the loop and that they are told only what administration feels necessary to share if that. I read in one of the comments that at one time people felt and could see smiling faces of employees that were happy working there. What happened? I see some familiar faces that it is always a pleasure to see just beacuse of my positive experience with these few individuals who are dedicated to United Health Center Prrlier. I believe that with empathic and qualified personnel that this could be turned around and be rebuilt too what it once was.

I agree, I think alot of employee's are geniune in the care for there patients, but I have noticed that since this administration took over, it has changed, there smile is still there but there is stress and tiredness. I have been a patient at Parlier and Orangecove and love both clinics, so why cannot the board find out why the smiles have dwindled..

I think it sounds like you all are some disgruntled ex-employees that need to find something better to do and have nothing else in life but memories of years past. Get over it, get a job, and move on. By the looks of most of your spelling skills, I don't see teaching being a viable option. United Health Centers has been nothing but good for my family's health care over the years and I am positive that there are 2 sides to every story.

I do not know what you disgruntled employee's are talking about because I have been a patient in Orange Cove since it started and my mother use to take the whole family there and now I go to the Parlier Clinic and the entire staff is helpfull and I am treated well. The problem with you disgruntled employee's is that you folks have had it easy for many years and now you have to work for your money and if you do not like it then you need to leave because there is plenty of people waiting to get a job. You folks need to do your jobs and stop being comadres!!!!!!

I agree with you. I use to work there and I left to work in Fresno because I moved and I can admit I did have a cushion job. We had potluck every other week long breaks we would get to leave campus on are breaks a lot of vacation and sick time and my boss would let mr leave to go pick up my kids when I needed. This was under the same administrators than we currently have and I just heard through my best friend that still works there that although they got their merits frozen they just got a bonus program as well that way over does there yearly merit increases they use to get and she still has time to take long breaks there bi weekly pot lucks and their directors and CEO gave them a barbecue last week. And yes like every other company they had to cut the fat to stay a float but compared to the company I am at it wasn't in the 3 hundreds. So yes she has to work a little harder but wouldn't leave for anything and I wish I wouldn't of either there is not a week that goes by that I don't ask her if there's any opening so I can ask for my job back !!!so I think maybe that there is some disgruntled ex employee that's bashing?? I don't know cause if your a current employee stop complaining cause you don't know how good you have it. Sounds like oc is the problem maybe it's the management there that's the problem??

I cannot understand why everyone is focusing on what the three adminsitative staff have done, this is about saving our clinics from going down, like Sequoia, from over expanding, this is about starting to make the clinics better from the inside out, for all staff and especially for our dear patients. In order to do this new leadership is needed. They can do whatever they want on there own time, as long as their focus is on our clinic. We as patients, who have family members who have worked proudly for this company for years are just asking for a change of direction in the running of this company.

Can you show me that were not doing well? Because I worked for seqoia and it were the administrators that brought it down buy if I am not mistaken doctors ran it? People were to busy worrying about who's in charge that people stopped caring about us or the patient rumors were more important. Kind of what i see in this forum. Except for rumors from a long time ago I dont see any proof that administration hasnt made us ok. I dont see stuff happening and people losing jobs like oher places ?[QUOTE ]who="Fred"]I cannot understand why everyone is focusing on what the three adminsitative staff have done, this is about saving our clinics from going down, like Sequoia, from over expanding, this is about starting to make the clinics better from the inside out, for all staff and especially for our dear patients.
