Farmers face shortage of water

Full story: Fresno Bee

But we've had it before and will get through it. We'll irrigate every other row and try to use conservation procedures. Dry winter and spring weather has caused the Consolidated Irrigation District to pull the plug on deliveries this year for only the third time since the canal service began about 130 years ago. via Fresno Bee

Behind the smokescreen, we may be headed for a disaster of major proportions regarding our water supply.

Look what has been uncovered - illegal and unauthorized re-routing of water lines. 40+/- secret operation. The final touches are now being carried out. It needs to be investigated before it is too late.

The water issues regarding the San Joaquin Valley will never be resolved under the current political and population conditions of California. While the majority of California's population lives within 50 miles of the coastline, most of California is located 100 miles from the coast. Politically, California is mostly controlled by Eastern Liberals who have moved West, or their descendants, all of whom are move concerned about the welfare of a few fish more than they are about the people of the interior of Califoria. The other thing is, to maintain their power base, they have to appease the ever growing population of LA. People should really start considering the possibility of California being split up into three States. Let northern California be the State of Jefferson. Sever off the interior and Ventura to Monterey counties, and up around the Bay Area to the border of the new State of Jefferson to be the State of California. Take LA and Orange Counties to be another State, and just dump the Bay Area in the ocean.
