Boy, 6, hit while waiting for school bus

A 6-year-old boy was struck by a van and seriously injured Friday morning while waiting for a school bus near Bremerton.

that 6 yr old little boy was waiting for the bus on the street that i work on. i drove by him and he was standing with his mother. not 10 mins later i heard the police sirens. one of the guys that works with me came in and said that a white mini van had hit a little boy while he was crossing a busy street to get to the bus stop. i work on werner road right up the road from the sheriffs department...the little boy got hit right at sunnyslope rd.what i want to know is why his mother isnt the one in the hospital..why would she not walk her 6YR OLD SON across the street..IRRESPONSIBLE!! she sould have been hit by the van not that poor little boy...i would have glady taken the hit before my child would. pure laziness to not want to walk across the street. and honestly..why would you put a school bus stop on a busy street that smei trucks and dump truck and work vans travel on all the time..granted the speed limit is 35 but you cant stop a large vehicle on a dime. and what is sad is that the city doesnt care until someone get seriuosly hurt or dies. and sometimes they wait to do something until it happens more then once. there should be speed humps at every school bus stop and after..that way every one has to slow down..and if you think that i am some old lady that has a bad attitude..think again..i am 26 yr old and have a car that has alot of speed..and i like to drive fast..but i do it where i know it is safe..and that is on a track. that little boy should not be in the hospital right now..

Are you kidding me? You do not have all the facts and cannot put the blame on the mother, I am sure she feels quite bad right now without you bashing her, " I would have gladly taken the hit before my child would". You probably don't even have kids cause your too damn ugly and cannot find a man that would reproduce with you!!!!!!
