Has anyone else in the area of longview avenue and wilhelm avenue been seeing the video pipe services trucks? today and about 2 weeks ago i noticed that the water coming out of my faucets was brown. both times i saw these trucks driving up and down my street. today we were washing clothes, cooking, bathing, and drinking this water before we noticed it was turning brown. just wondering if anyone knows what's going on because i dont know what we've been eating and drinking and bathing in, but i would think residents should be notified about what they're doing and warned not to use this water. hopefully no one has been poisoned...

They were doing video inspections of the pipes. They also were cleaning the pipes using a jetter truck. It basically blasts water in the line while pulling a large brush through. this cleans any grease, deposits, small roots out. This was being done becuase of the re-lining of the pipes with a new cured in place liner. They should have left mailers at the residents houses when they were in the area doing work. You can always report any concerns to 311 as Baltimore City is responsible for Balt. Co. water.
