My fiance' was offered an interview with Bear Concepts. Does anyone know anything about this place? It says a promotional marketing firm...but I can't get any in depth info on what they actually do. I was also wondering what this area is like. Demographic, rental real estate, cost of living, schools. Any info would help. thanks

I answered the ad at career builders and they want to schedule an interview. However; I cannot find a real information on this co. Did you interview and find any info out?

Its BS. They changed their name to from Bulldog Marketing. They want you to go door to door, and Ive heard you sell coupon booklets. No salary.

Other than Sdog, does anybody have any feedback on their interviews they had set up? My girlfriend has one set up for Friday and I'm apprehensive about how legitimate this firm is. Any feedback would be great.

i interviewed with bear concepts march 9th. they do alot of face to face marketing with sears. i dont know what Sdog meant with the coupon books, the manager didnt know anything about selling books. i asked the same questions about bulldog marketing, it is not the same company. apparently bulldog marketing relocated somewhere.

I too have been contacted by Bear Concepts. They say this is their busy season so hurry? What do they market? Sell, Do? I can't make heads or tails from their homepage? Does anyone know anything? I would appreciate any help you could give.

I was asked to come and interview with them. I never trust a company that is very aloof with what they actually do. I am looking for a real job- not one that will end up costing me money and wasted time. I got an offer to interview with another company and I spoke with the interviewing coordinator and when I cancelled my interview at Bear Concepts, she just hung up on me. If she would have tried, she could have rescheduled with me. What a bitch. Her name was Kristen I think.

I went in today for an interview and was nervous because their website didnt look like much, and just as I thought this company is a joke. They bring you in and make this job seem like it is going to be something amazing, but it is simply you going around door to door selling sears catalogs. I only trusted this company because I havent had much luck yet with finding a job and I was hoping that this was worth my time but it most certainly was not. So for everyone like me who finds this forum in hopes of finding out more about this company, please run away, unless you want to wait an hour and a half for an interview with an idiot named Alex while sitting in a hallway where the receptionist Krista answers the phone.

Dear The Truth poster..... I am so glad that you shared your experience. I am hoping more people dont get sucked in to their "line"... I hope that Krista reads this and sees that her lieing on the phone to me about what a respectable company she is involved in... gets out to other people! She must think that we aren't internet savy. I hope that their chicken shit company folds. People are only looking for jobs to feed their families- a situation the gov. has put us in!!! Good luck to everyone looking for a job. I found an awesome job in 2 days on www.bmorejobs.com moster and career builder were horrible.(that is where I got this company from)

i work for bear concepts, have since may. Ive got to say, you people are the most bitter and moronic people Ive ever seen get their hands on a computer.

Selling sears catologs? You either need to listen better or ask more questions, there is no catologs involved. There is Door to Door if you want to do it, if you dont... you do store promotions, which is what i do. And, honestly, with the way the economy is, if you cant suck it up for 3 months of store promotions, you deserve unemployment.

As for the company being a "joke", name another compnay out there with as much growth potential and a company where the manager gives you money out of his pocket to help you out. Its a great company, great people, fun atmosphere, you just need a life.

I was made aware of this site by someone who works for bear concepts. And for me personally, i can site specific examples where Alex, the manager, helped me out and no person gain to himself. he is a guy who has sacrificed his own personal growth to make sure the people around him have a place in his company and they feel welcome. the people who have anything negative to say about the company simply have not had the opportunity to get to know the opporation, shame on you.

With my degree being in Graphic Design I wondered what exactly they wanted to do with me. So when I asked what exactly it was that they did and Krista couldn't tell me, I knew to look into it further.

I found this web page and confirmed my suspicions. I canceled my interview with them after reading these posts... and was also promptly hung up on.

I am so glad I came across this site. I have been looking for months for a new position and thoughts this was the answer. The crappy website was a turn off, but I just thought it was a small company. I had this same kind of experience a few years ago with a company very similar that justed wanted us to go door to door and sell stuff. I want a job but I'm not prepared to hustle like an televangelist to get one. I'm canceling my appointment NOW.
