I camped with my Girl Scouts at Thorne-Rider for nine years. It is a beautiful camp with great facilities. It is sad that so many of the trees had to be chopped down to make a fire break and because of pine beetle kill, but in the long run it will make the surviving trees in the area grow strong and beautiful for the next generation.
