Nice to see the police are busy setting up doctors and pharmacists for arrest, how about going after crooked politicians, rapists, murderers, robbers, etc.? Oh yeah, that could entail some work and real risk. Nevermind.
They definitely could spend some time on the politicians around Broward instead of wasting our money on tricking doctors into writing prescriptions the officers don't need.

I hope this isn't another internal BSO steroid scam gone wrong. Are BSO officers trying to take the attention off their own use problems.

Wow, you really are up to speed on police tactics. I am impressed. Oh, BTW, it was the White Pages.
Dr. Hunt is a good man and a good doctor. You should be so lucky to have a doctor that cares for you as he does for his patients.
Wrong. Everyone knows the criminal hot sheets for advertising are the New Times and City Link. You can get drugs, prostitution, and gambling. All the vices are covered in those publications.

Yeah, thats what the cops do. They mistakenly invest hundreds of hours of manpower time into investigating some innocent doctor. They just opened up the phonebook and pointed to anyone and said, "let's waste several hundred hours of time investigating this doctor."
Say what you want. Most of you hate cops, so your comments will be hateful and dumb. I don't care, some of them are pretty funny, but most are dumb. Some cops are jerks, no doubt, but, we are surrounded by jerks.
Commenting on something without knowing the facts makes a person sound smart but look stupid.
Actually, YES in election years when the sheriff and others are up for a vote they will try anything to make a few high profile arrests that make them look good, thinking they don't would be ignorance.

So what? You claim to know anything more than we do about the story? Are you a BSO involved? If not your the one trying to sound smart while looking stupid. I can tell you I DO know what happened, as an insider. I know the Dr. Hunt is innocent and will be contesting these charges. Also several publications are probably gonna get sued for their "news reporting". I can tell you the police spent NOWHERE near "hundreds of hours" on this investigation, at most a few days of HACK police work done in the interests of making the DEA and BSO look good during an election period. The result has been a massive backlash and plenty of moral, financial and legal support for Dr. Hunt and I look forward to Mr. Beasley of the Miami Herald having to apologize and pay Dr. Hunt damages, I'd take his $285,000.00 3rd floor Del Prado South Condo right off US 1 and the waterfront!

Yeah I think this is all BS. BSO is worthless. They let out a man who attacked me and my mom on a $500 dollar bond and the police said he had the right to come to the place we were staying at.

I am Dr. Hunt's 1st patient EVER. Since for 18 years now ever since I was born he was my 1st and only docotr. He has helped my mom which he said she shouldn't have lived this long by helping her get by all these years.

Seriously unless you had him first hand and actually spoke to him you have no right to judge. This guy is an amazing doctor and hopefully justice will be on his side.

He is a doctor wanna-be!
First of all, Dr. Hunt is a compassionate, reputable and quite capable physician that under the circumstances has been given a raw deal. A DO, Doctor of Osteopathy, because obviously you are uneducated and make false statements, by the way, gets a more thorough education than an MD! Their approach is a combination of holistic and traditional medicine. They look at the larger picture (thus wholistic) in the human body in regards to ailments, rather than just trying to focus on just the targeted area. God, I really wish people would only speak when they have something of value to say, and get your facts correct before your open your ignorant mouth!!!

Many pharmacists have long been aware of Dr. Hunt's alleged prescribing habits when it comes to narcotics and benzodiazepines. The arrest came as no surprise to me. The surprise is that it didn't come sooner.

All of you drug addicts that think that over-prescribing doctors are some sort of saviors... think again. It is called "enabling." It is this sort of enabling that has resulted in the deaths of so many talented (and some not so talented) actors and actresses, such as Heath Ledger, Anna Nichole Smith, Elvis Presley, etc., not to mention the countless thousands of lesser known individuals who die each year due to the over-prescribing of prescription medications by doctors who could care less about what happens to them. Do you really think over-prescribing doctors care one bit whether you ultimately live or die? If you inadvertently die of an overdose from the cocktail of narcotics and benzodiazepines prescribed to you, do you really think the doctor will shed even one tear for you, or come to your funeral, or offer to help your family financially? I think not. However, you can rest assured he/she will contact his/her attorney to protect his/her self from any liability in your death.

So all of you whiny drug abusers who feel so sorry for what we refer to as "candy" doctors or "candymen",.... go to rehab. I'm sick of hearing about all of you drug addicts running to the defense of every doctor who helps you continue your drug addiction. I heard the same whiny complaints when Florida caught up with physicians such as Barbara Mazzella (may she rot in jail forever), Mitchell Wick, and Jerome Rotstein, to name just a few. The likely reason legitimate doctors won't prescribe ridiculous quantities of narcotics and benzodiazepines to you is because you in all likelihood don't have a medical condition that warrants it. It's that simple.

I, Michael kenney the pharmacist, was cleared of all charges after the corrupt detective in Oakland park, Richard Olson in charge of the case, and the crooked DEA agents who confiscated all the narcotics but did not inventory the cII's,(took them for themselves) went through every computer and paper file in my pharmacy and could not find one discrepency or violation and dropped the entire case. Dr Hunt however was found guilty and in court then soon died. So Fuck all of you who wrote otherwise you scumbags

And also the DEA would not give me my DEA license back so I had to close the store and det Olson refused to return my main pharmacy computer which he said he lost, what a loser, he will get get what that scumbag deserves....
