Darn right, because there's just as many cases of 17 or 22 or 58 people being killed by the mentally disturbed using knives.

And the real damage, the genuine risk of guns is just having one in the home, not some shoot em up on the street or at school. The bulk of gun deaths each year arise from gun owners' own accidents, domestic disputes, suicides.

Is that your best, stupid post in support of printing news of troop movements in time of war?

What? The right to bear arms is a basic American right that shall not be infringed. America requires a well armed militia to fight back against an oppressive government, should that occur. Yes, our right to bear arms means citizens have a responsibility to own firearms and be prepared to use them in order to maintain our Constitutional rights.

This is right.

And so is President Trump.

Progressive culture and progressive policies which to nothing to prevent these kinds of attacks are directly to blame for these kinds of attacks.

The American people will not be disarmed.

Look at Switzerland as a good example of the importance of a heavily armed citizenry. Ever wonder why Hitler never invaded Switzerland? Because the Swiss require that every citizen own a gun and know how to use it - It's actually against the law not to own a gun.

I don't think it is against the law to not own a gun in Switzerland, but maybe you are thinking of during the war it was required for every man to be armed and trained to shoot? I googled mandatory gun ownership in Switzerland and found that point.

It was in this TIME MAGAZINE article from 2012. In the text it notes the per capita homicide rate was .5 per 100,000; in the US it was 5 per 100,000 thus in the US it was TEN TIMES THE AMOUNT of Switzerland. BUT the per capital gun ownership was in Switzerland was right behind the US and Serbia.

http://world.time.com/2012/12/20/the-swiss-di...

I don't know how they can figure how many guns per capita, for if you only count legal gun registrations, that is not an accurate count.

The per capita homicide rate is accurately determined.

Conservatives have done nothing, Progressives have many times attempted to do something. Do NOT lie about that.

Right-wing support for NRA and gun manufacturers is DIRECTLY to blame.

PS - this isn't f-----g Switzerland.

There are no Conservatives with any kind of power in Washington. The progressives (on the left and on the right), along with progressive policies are directly to blame for these attacks.

Progressivism furthermore has degrade our culture - destroyed the family - and embraced atheism and the darkness that comes from a bankrupt world view. The inherent message of progressive atheism is that life is cheap and ultimately pointless.

Progressives like YOU are to blame for what is happening.

Yes. All Americans need to be armed to ensure the State remains free. Not hard to understand.

That's not what it means, retardate. That is not a position ever taken even by Scaliar or Thomas. You are an ignorant rube.

The First Amendment is phrased for more adamantly than the Second, and we all know of the many limits placed on free speech by the government.

You're stupid and ignorant with your vapid, right wing, masturbatory, unschooled mantras.

They have tried many times to do something but every time it was something that either hasn't worked before or wouldn't work now. Every law suggested has dealt with the appearance of a firearm not the functionality. And every law suggested is dependent on the criminal element complying. They don't comply now so what would a new and improved law do to improve that.

I would highly suggest we start by enforcing the current law and that in itself may work wonders. The enforcement now is haphazard at best.

You are absolutely correct this isn't Switzerland. It isn't Australia or England either.

Sure it's clear to you, you're stupid and uneducated.

Are you saying, similarly, that there are and can be no restrictions on free speech? Because the First Amendment is more absolutely written.

Be sure to answer this time. Git ur grand dragon / hom skool teechur to hewlp u.

I have the right to free speech that does not directly harm others. Slanderous speech, like every day in the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN is illegal.

Moron, the stuff in print is not "slander." You are stupid and uneducated. What those outlets publish is not illegal. You don't even begin to understand the difference between prior restraint versus some actual claim of libel. Strictly speaking, just printing erroneous facts is not "libel." But I might as well be talking to a clump of peat moss.

The point is that _everyone_ knows the First Amendment is not absolute. Your braying about the Second as though it is just marks the right wing as ignorant, brainwashed rubes who never _know_ anything.
