I agree. West Virginia, the southern part especially, needs to have a lot more business going. I'd like us to have a Mall as big as the ones in NC, where they literally have Carousels and Bungee Jumps inside the Mall it's so big.

National College is a joke... and so is valley. This, coming from a Valley graduate.

I did end up getting a decent job after turning the shtty 2 year degree into a Bachelor's though. Still, around here - you don't have to have a degree to get a "good" job, because most people consider a job 'good' if it isn't fast food.

National College, like Valley, are nothing but jokes and pure rip-offs! National's so-called professors are nothing more but former National College graduates whom the college hired out of pity for them. Seriously, I was taking a class there one time and the person I had as a teacher also taught speech that only had ONE person in the class!!!!!!! How are you going to learn to speak in front of an audience if you are the only student in the entire class?!?! Plus, the campus director, Mr. Riffe is gay as h311! He struts around with his ugly nose in the air and won't speak to the students! Mrs. Elmore (Admissions) and Mrs. Mitchem (Financial Aid) are weirdos, plain and simple! They act like they know a lot, but in reality, are nothing but airheads! PLEASE, if you are considering N.C. as your means for an education, please look elsewhere! N.C. and V.C. are nothing but a waste of time and MONEY!

National College has some great instructors. I have learn so much and I really enjoyed going there. If you apply yourself and really put in the effort you will receive some valuable knowledge. This knowledge will help you to seek a better job and even help you into being more of a professional person in everyday Life. I do not work there. Talking about people and giving out their names is not very classy especially when you do not give out your name. Any education is valuable in life. National has been a wonderful experience for me. I have more knowlege and skills that I use everyday plus I am proud to know I have accomplish a goal of getting a degree. No matter what kind of trash talking someone does about National I have a degree that I earned and it can not be taken away.If you have an opportunity to get an education take it! You can never go wrong by trying to improve yourself with an education.

Mr. Riffe is a very nice person and is caring, please don't talk about someone like that. He really cares and will go out of his way to help any situation.

Whoever said that about him, doesn't know him or just aren't respectful to anyone.

I graduated from National, and I got a great Job making more money than you loosers that dont like the school. I am an RMA and work in a nice physicians office and make $17.75 an hour. so stop hating you low life drop outs!
Wow, really?!! I graduated from national with an associates degree, and honors, had a 3.93 GPA throughout my time at the college- & I am also a
RMA. Where and how did you get a job making $17.75/hr? Have u been there a while?
I work in the federal field as an RMA, and have had plenty of offers after my interview with different doctors offices (and these were very well known doctors who had an extensive patient load), and the most I was offered was $12 and was told that that was the highest going rate for
RMA's in the surrounding area given the fact that he was acquaintances with many of the doctors in the area.
I do agree that Nationalvis extremely expensive and when I had classes where the teacher sucked and wasn't even teaching, it didn't do me a bit of good to complain to Mr Riffe. There are many "teachers" there who were fellow students, but some actually were very knowledgeable. I hate the fact that if I want to peruse my RN degree or PA license I would either have to go to Mountain State or take all my classes over again.

Valley College is a JOKE and the Instructers are JOKES,,,, they have a lil clic of favs and if you are not in , then forget it..... They could care less about the students and what they are there for. I think National would be a much better choice than Valley.

I run a program at a national college and I wont say which campus or department but I will say, yes compared to my educational experience and the one I'm going through for my next degree National bites the big one! You have no idea how hard it is for me to get my students in the right classes because admin only cares about a damn head count and how hard I have to fight to get instructors the right material or for them to even take attendance and grade students appropriately because they are too lazy to grade homework.... Just sad spend your money elsewhere

I graduated from National with an Associates Degree in Science, 3.98 GPA, and am working as a RMA. I really enjoyed my experience there and most of the teachers. BUT....I wouldn't recommend for anybody to believe what the admin tells you when you go to inquire about courses they have to offer. THEY LIE. They told me nobody in this area paid less than $12 per hour. Well I am working for much less. In fact my brother worked at McDonald's and made more money than me.
