Not sure how you can blame a business for kids being overweight. Seems like the adults who are supposedly raising them would teach them better. But then if the parents are like you describe the kids, how can they teach? On the other hand, Dunkin Donuts wanting to expand means more revenue for the state from B & O taxes, plus any city or state and income taxes. Maybe WV is so flush with revenue that business don't need to come in. I doubt it though.

you are right, peste. the lardass wv kids have ignorant lardass wv parents who will feed those kids a box of dunkin donuts for dinner. i am sure dunkin donuts is aware of this factor, and they are just dying to start chucking donuts to these obese retards. by the way, the cost that taxpayers will bear for medical care for these tards will far outweigh the benefit of the tax revenue.

It's a free country. Some people want to over-eat just as some people want to be obsessed with other's eating behavior. Both are bad habits. The 1st makes one fat, the other makes one obnoxious.

Hey Nicky, Dicky here. Wake up and get with the conversation...we are discussing the fact that WV surely doesn't need a Dunkin Donuts. We couldn't care less about anyone's eating habits, per se. By the way, if you truly believe that this is a "free country," you are a bit more ignorant than the rest of your post implies...

when the light is on you can't beat Krispy Creame, as Mr. Food says ,Oh so good

I have to agree that Krispy Cream cannot be beat. That would be my choice. Whether ot not people overeat is not my concern. Maybe we should do less judging of one another to begin with.

I like to see business expand into our state and sure Krispy Creames may not be a "healthy choice" for you but I believe all food is good for you in moderation. I don't see you people protesting the fact there is a McDonalds on every corner! I am the last person to talk about overweight people because I have been overweight most of my life. You may think I would be the biggest fan of a donut shop, however I have never had one of these "famous" treats and look forward to them coming to West Virginia to try (in moderation as a treat).

ignore sydney, he oviously is coming down fast from his sugar high. my family and i had a weekly ritual of going to the movies after a wholesome dinner, then going to Dunkin Donuts in Weirton on the way home for a donut and hot chocolate. its a tradition i will remember with a smile....the key is everything in moderation

Moderation and Exercise are the 2 most key components to being healthy. By every standard in the book I am overweight but I feel like I am healthy because I eat in moderation and walk everyday. I haven't gained weight in almost a year, but have lost a tiny bit at a time (a pound or 2 a month). I like to treat myself once in a while and I can't think of a better way than a warm donut and hot chocolate.:)

I'm not fat, just like good donuts instead of the lame grocery store kind. I want them to build a Dunkin Donuts near WVU but not just for the students. I want to eat donuts and get sugar high. I want a car made of donuts that also runs on donuts. I want donut holes instead of eyes. I want to make a house of donuts and then eat it to the ground. I want to be a donut. I want to have donut babies. And I also like to watch the VIEW to see what Whoopie will be wearing, while I eat a donut.

I am fat, and I like good, homemade donuts too. Those donuts in the boxes at the grocery store suck. They are not even really donuts. They are little, round cakes, shaped like donuts. Krispy Kremes are the best to get a sugar high, and are also the best to use during forplay. If you dip them in melted butter, first, they are even better. Woopie Goldburg is the hottest bee-otch on the boob tube. I would like to eat a donut out of her belly button.

That is one of the most disturbing things I have ever read. I may never be able to eat another donut.
