I desperately need a title for a car for my son. Title was destroyed. Is this company still in business? If it is still in business do you have a number? The one listed is disconnected. I'm from Ohio and work every day and do not have the time to drive down to see if the business is open.

No. Sorry. I only know Fred because someone in my family was married to someone in his.......you know how that goes. Haven't seen him in a long time. I'll see if Alpine is still in business though and let you know.

That comment doesn't appear that you are looking for a replacement title or you would have gone to the DMV in your state and had a replacement done. This smells like debt collector or the IRS. Good luck with your search.

Just throwing this out there Alpine is a joke of a mechanic shop! Took a ABS
Mod to them they said they put it in and when I got there and paid the $400 my car was soaked from the windows being down and it rain,the ABS light was still on, and when I went inside and asked for the old ABS Mod they gave me the new one back they didn't put on! Then goes to tell me he thought his mechanic put it on but he guess he didnt! Total scam artiest and would fix the fact they left my car opened up in the rain.

I have never heard of that place. Customer service sounds bad. I have had a few shops that really let me down as well, but not like that place. I goto Griffs automotive over by big sandy. They have always treated me right and it's fixed.

Fred's place? Everyone knows Fred, lol. That mechanic is on everyone's list. Rather far down on the list... but on it.

Just ask anyone how to get hold of "The REAL Fred." They'll know who you mean.
