Whats the deal with this place? Are they going to open for real or not. Saw cars in line and customers inside the other day and later that day the parking lot was closed. What going on?

I picked up a dozen the other morning and a coffee. Hands down the best. But Saturday and Sunday closed and roped off. Might have had a major equipment failure. I hope not and it's just training. I bet Monday morning they will be open.

Tim Hortons, JR's, and Mchappys is Better than the dried out day old donut from Dunkin. I take it your either a worker there or a owner cause no one likes that stuff compared to what's in town.... Even Walmart Donuts are better than Dunkins reheated donuts

JR's has way better donuts than DD. The donuts I got at DD were cold like they had been frozen or refrigerated. I would much rather have a fresh warm donut.

Yes. Fresh warm and floppy. Yep that's a real doughnut and they can only be purchased at JRs

People in WV don't have a clue what Good food tastes like. I don't work at Dunkin nor do I own one but I grew up eating their tasty treats and it just keeps getting better! Maybe U should try again when they train the workers alittle better because the other places U named don't even come close to the quality of DD foods & beverages!

I haven't tried Dunkin' Donuts yet. But I see where some mentioned JR's. My boss and I went through their drive-thru a few weeks ago for a working lunch and got hot dogs. While I didn't expect gourmet food (they were hot dogs!), I did expect DECENT food because they are supposed to have good donuts and because, well, how can you screw up what we ordered (because, again, they were hot dogs)? I ordered three with sauce. After the first one, I really should have known better than eating the other two. But I was already back and had about ten minutes before I had to start working again. So I ate the other two.

Within a half-hour, I felt - and literally looked - like I had a bowling ball in my gut. I was bloated and in pain. My boss said I looked like I was about to throw up. I remember saying that if I did, I'd probably feel better - it was that bad. A few hours after that and I had diarrhea so bad that not only could I not work, I couldn't even get in my car and drive home. It was HORRIBLE!

I would guess - both from the odd sourness of it and the fact that my boss did not get sick even though he said his hotdogs tasted bad - that their hotdog sauce was spoiled.

If you're in the mood for hotdogs, don't go to JRs! I can't say about their donuts because I've not tried them. But if a restraunt does one thing well, they will either not completely ruin another item or they will simply not sell the item that they are hopeless at. A place that sells bad - or even worse, spoiled - food almost certainly does not care about the quality of their other items.

So go to JRs if you really want to. Maybe their donuts are great. But make sure you try a couple of their hotdogs with sauce first. It's often hard to tell if an item that is loaded with sugar is spoiled, but you'll be able to tell with their hotdogs - if not when you eat them, surely within an hour afterwards.

Oh, and I have no known food allergies and have NEVER gotten sick from eating hotdogs... And I've eaten (many times) at Smitty's sandwich shop on Broadway and Larky's (used to be called Yelkies, everyone who wasn't addicted to that place - and a few that were - called it Yuckies because you either loved the flavor or hated it).

You have been warned. It's up to you. "On your head be it!"

I have ate jr's donuts and hot dogs since high school and not once been sick. Maybe you just have a weak stomach especially since your boss had the same thing and it didn't bother him. Now smittys on the other hand has made my stomach hurt a few times but I go back because it's good and cheap and their milkshakes are awesome.
