Fewer sheriff's deputies will be assigned to San Bernardino County courthouses as Superior Court administrators manage a mandated $3.4 million cut in security.

That courtroom deputy makes the same money and sometimes more than the deputy working hi s butt off on the streets who is in constand physical danger. In times past the court deputy was usually not a very effective patrol officer who wanted M-F wknds & holidays off. Cost cuts? Start there!

Indeed, put them back to work. Officially, 14.5 million Americans have lost jobs since 2007. Unofficially, it's probably double the number, when you count the chronically unemployed and illegal aliens working under the table. Obama's programs are supposed to produce 3.5 million jobs in 2 years. Big deal! We need more jobs for Americans!
