Are outside storage sheds legal in Overland park? Gas, propane and mowers, trimmers, power washers and etc should be stored outside for safety. Ordinances that prohibit storage sheds have not been very well thought through.

Yes & no. They are okay with the city, as long as you get the proper permits to build it. The caveat to that is that the home owner's association must approve it and most won't allow them. That was one of the things I looked for when I bought a house, no homeowner's association.

Another fine example of someone being educated but can't tie their own shoes. Absolutely no common sense. Book smart/street stupid.

I also think homeowner's associations have a well meant intent, but they go overboard on restrictions. I agree with James in OP. I'd opt out too. The HA's are more concerned with property aesthetics than practicality and safety.

I feel that you have nothing more to do than comment about something that you know nothing about. Honda is offering to settle this 3/4 Million dollar claim. Jee go figure... mabye a defective power washer. Wonder why they would do that if somebody is street stupid. My family lost everything... EVERYTHING.. and to see a comment like this is just really oout there... enough said... Rob Harris
