RESPECTED SIR/ MADAM,
Re: Pleading for Educational Support.
Greetings in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST!
With lots of concern and great anxiety in my mind I would like to express about the uncertainty of my educational career and future to you. I, Saswata Ghose, am appeared in ISC Examination 2011 from St. Jamesí School, Kolkata, and going to appear in IITJEE, AIEEE and WBJEE for further studies. I am giving my full effort and am confident enough to achieve the opportunity to crack the entrance exam.
I want to establish myself in life, I want to complete my B.E. first and later on if I can get an opportunity for further studies I must proceed and go for self-upliftment, as well as for my family and society. My aim is to put myself in such a position from where I can support a few needy children like me to build their career and to establish themselves in society.
I am from a very poor Christian family. My father Santanu Ghose is a Christian Missionary worker and the only earning member of our family, but presently he is suffering with some kidney disease. From my childhood I am seeing him working for an organization named India Campus Crusade for Christ with a very small salary and we, all the five members of our family, have suffered with poverty, as he feels it is his duty to serve God. His unfortunate life-threatening illness forced him to return back from the village he was posted in. But our sufferings didnít end there, as the organization stopped his salary of Rs. 4000/- per month since July 2010, which left us in a suicidal condition. Gradually our daily bread grew thinner by the day and our educational process is endangered. Even after repeated requests from my father for a posting in Kolkata, they gave him the only option to go back to the village, which would lead him to death and where they can provide his funeral expenses, thenÖ. Though my father was left without medication and often we went to bed with an empty stomach, but still my father made us continue with our education and we gave our best effort in it.
My sister Sneha Ghose who comes first in her class in Loreto Day School, was on the verge of ending her career due to lack of books and inefficiency to pay her school fees when she was promoted to class 9, even my school fees were due which was preventing me from sitting in my ISC examination. Seeing no other way out of this my sister had sent an email to The Respected Commissioner of Police, Kolkata and after the necessary enquiries through the local Police Station, he stretched his hands of blessings on our heads helping us by arranging the immediate educational necessities. My father is desperately searching for some other suitable job and I have experienced the example of Christianity without humanity. I donít want to criticize and not even want to be like them.
But it is clear to me under these circumstances to meet the expenses for my further education it is going to be very difficult for my father. So I am humbly begging your kind support for my further education as my results are coming out around the end of May 2011 which is less than 2 months away from now. Donít take it otherwise but I can feel that to bear all the expenses by an individual for my higher studies will become a huge amount, so if I can get a few supporters who can help me in some measures to fulfill the requirements for my educational expenses to the institution I will get admission in, it may help me to clear the darkness of my educational future.
I am pleading in front of you with my arms wide open with a great hope that you may be compassionate enough to stretch your hand to save me from the darkness of my life. Hope you will be kind enough to consider my request sympathetically, by which I can survive through this acute situation and can get back to the normal life.
Thanking you,
Yours compassionately,
Saswata Ghose
