The headline says "ViolaNtions". Don't you people have EDITORS at Fox4? Looks like yet another case of someone drawing salary and not performing. Aren't editors supposed to be educated enough to at least READ and SPELL? They should outsource that to China with everything else.

Why are they telling us where they will be? If you know what to avoid, most people will be more cautious to avoid a ticket. The police should just show up somewhere and do their job. Knowing where they are sometimes makes me choose another route.

It's just like when you are on the interstate and there is a cop driving along with everyone. Everyone drives the speed limit, until that cop takes an exit and then everyone drives like the idiots they normally do.
I agree, don't blab where they will be, that's just dumb.

Wow. What happened to proofing, spell check and the editor reviewing before posting? Violantions and steeping. Good lands people. Overland Park Police are keeping a close eye on drivers. They're steeping up an enforcement in two areas Tuesday and Wednesday.

They could post signs for a month and they would still catch speeders.

They shouldnt just do it in KS either. Driving on 71 Hwy (north and south) at rush hour, you see hundreds of agressive drivers.

I wish KCMO would do this up north on 169 HWY. I see so many people cutting each other off, darting in and out and tailgaiting. It is so ignorant to drive like this it doesn't get you anywhere any faster and causes accidents. I think it has become worse lately.

"One of the intersections police will be enforcing is 95th & U.S. 59 Highway."
Regarding proof-reading, last time I checked US 59 runs N-S through Lawrence (not OP). Regarding the increase in enforcement, sounds like OP district court will be helping balance the OP budget for fiscal year 2010.

Friday is a better day for this! While you at collecting revenue, can you step up on the thievery? Does that take too much effort? Or report writing?

I'm glad the police are doing traffic enforcement on a busy stretch.
Question 1: Why is this news?
Question 2: Does this news station have literate writers?
Question 3: If no to #2, is this station too cheap to buy a Spell Check program?
