Before everyone gets bent out of shape, this should be looked into to see if they were treted unfairly.

I have been at this market for several years and seen what all that has happened. There is a couple of vendors (that grow little if any of what they sell) that managed to buddy up with the market manager that initiated the removals. George is a true grower and is to be comended for the quality that he brings to the market. My recommendation would be to continue to support him at his new locations at the BVRC market (137th between Antioch and Switzer) or at the Merriam Marketplace. I can only hope that with time the OP Market will rebound. Just remember that some of us do still grow what we sell, and get to know the vendors that you buy from.

George may be a true grower but he sure buys a lot of produce at CMPA at Versallies, MO. Just saying it sure makes it tough selling against someone retailing tomatoes they have just bought at auction for $8.00 25#box Farmers markets do need some structure to keep a viable market.

As long as they go away, I do not care if they are quiet.
