I can't believe all the people involved with the death of Shawn. He really was such a great person . I hope people start to realize how serious drugs are.

Shawen was such a great guy! I've known him since I was like 8. He's greatly missed. It pisses me off that some that are charged in his death are also on his Facebook saying crap like "I can't believe this happened and I'm gonna miss you." Uh this happened bc YOU gave him the drugs! No you didn't force him to take them, but if there weren't worthless drug dealin bastards this wouldn't of happened. I hope they all rot in jail!

He was a grown man if these people didn't sell to him he.would have bought it somewhere else. Obviously he did drugs very often or he would not have been involved with this many drug dealers. Same as saying if a person buys a 12 pack then drives then its the stores fault. Nope don't think so. This man had many different drugs in his system he is dead cause he was just another drug addict. 1 less drug addict and 4 less dealers on the street. Can't put full blame on the dealers and can't put full blame on this man, both are equally responsible. Sorry for his family he left behind , he should have thought long and hard about them before putting any drug much less and big mixture in his system.

He did the drugs on his own. One criminal off the streets for good and 4 temporarily. And hopefully when the cops have them rat out their friends we get a couple more off the streets. Who did these providers get there drugs from and who did those people get theirs from? We need to look at these doctors giving scripts to anyone who has a bad day and needs Xanax. I have seen drugs ruin my friends and family members lives, once they get in so deep they can sometimes not be pulled out. I feel sorry for the children involved and hope they can learn from their parents mistakes. Luckily they are young enough to not expiernce the pain and embarrassment of seeing their parents mugshot make front page or the people crying at their funeral. I know two of the people facing charges and know what good people they were before drugs ruined their lives. maybe this will open their eyes in time to get their lives together and maybe influence others that you can quit.

Shawen did this to himself.. I think the guys should get jail time for selling drugs.. but murder? That's unreal. Just like what "whatever" said.. should we start arresting store owners for selling to drunk drivers?

I have to agree also. All besides saying the part about one less drug head. I don't even know the man who passed but I do know people make mistakes. I think this was a big mistake. It could have been prevented from happening if he would have made better decisions, but don't bash the dead.

Really?? This is all bullshit, i mean no one forced him to take the pills. If he didnt get them from these guys he would of got them elsewhere. He knew he was taking drugs and that there was a chance that it could kill him. Yes its a sad story but u cant ruin the lives of these young people..st francois county law enforcement is a fucking joke anyway

I do agree that if one person won't sell the drugs to an addict, he/she will just go elsewhere. It is so heart breaking to see that some people have hit this bottom. Drugs have skyrocketed in this area in the past 3-4 years, and people seem to think they are invincible. I did, and am blessed enough to be alive today. Programs such as AA and NA need to me more enforced because they can save lives. When people use drugs or drink to get out of themselves, there is an issue. I believe there should be more information given in schools, possibly an anonymous website with someone in recovery where children can ask questions.

totally bogus....the unfortunate thing is unless those young men make a complete 180...which not many addicts do...their lives are already ruined. Just hope they don't bring babies into this world and hope they limit how many other lives they ruin. At this point they are complete losers...and I say that having pity on them not hating them.

I see the point in the argument that they are not responsible for his death...I agree with that....but if they don't make miraculous changes in their lives, they are ruined and in prison anyway...even if the prison is not behind bars. I would not be angry with law enforcement...your anger should be directed at the addicts...not the people trying to clean it up and make and example out of them. They put themselves here.

Some make it and some don't..we will never know why. I know many people who have done horrible things due to the addiction, and they are clean, sober, and happy today. All we can do is hope for the best, and pray that children aren't involved when it comes to drugs.

Well some of you don't know the whole story. I know one of the individual's charged and it's a case of guilty by association. Not saying he didn't use drugs but he wasn't a part of this particular incident but was with the other individuals at the time of certain purchases so that's why he's involved no one made the kid do drugs he did them on his own. Should some of the individual's be punished? Maybe but not all and surely not murder 2 correct me if I'm wrong please but isn't there a new prosecuting atty sounds like he's out to make a name for himself if there is but as usual the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Drugs should be off the street yes but at what and who's expense

Maybe this will be a wake up call for the individual who is guilty by assoc. to realize the people he is hanging around aren't good people. Or they could be good people, just caught in bad behavior. I get that people are going to do drugs, however, If people would just stick to themselves and not be a part in dealing there would be no murder charges needed.

I'm pretty sure it is a wake up call maybe alittle too late but he shouldnt be charged for murder 2 just for riding in the car when drugs were bought on the way to pick up his personal stuff at another house it was his only ride it's a long story

yes it was his choice to do drugs.... and yes the people who supply the drug either given or sold should be heald responsible even if the drug dealer is a doctor, a lot of doctors know there is no way people need all the drugs they are writing scripts for, and most of the people abusing the drugs know what local doctors to go to when they have tapped out one they move to the other. Our government pays for a lot of the drugs that are being sold.If you know of a doctor who is doing this report them, that is the only way to get rid of them.

My boyfriend is one of the men charged in this. I csnt go into much detail but alot of this is a lie. Dale was my buddy but also for whatever reason made alot of this up. Dale says he, shawen and another guy csme to my house that day......SO NOT TRUE....we wasnt home most of that day and never in my life ever saw shawen or this other guy. The truth will come out. So sorry for the Bunch family I couldnt even imagine, but my bf is innocent and we will proove it. The daily journal say my bf whom ive been with for 9yrs confessed to selling these to them, he didnt confess the reason my bf is sitting in jail cuz dale wrote a statement on Vern. So plzzz ppl dont judge if u dont know these ppl who have been arrested for this unless u know everyone involved.

I don't put full blame on only 1 person here but all of them are equally to blame. But murder 2 on this many people is insanity. Yes charge them for distributing but not murder. It comes down to yes these guys did wrong but the paper said shawn had many different meds mixed together maybe if he wouldn't have done that he would still be alive.
