As sweet as the Honey is, so is the Blue Team Victory on April 7.
We as the Proud people of Midlothian voted in a new Mayor.
It was a great moment in our History to dethrone the King and his jesters. Some may not all be jesters but, you can be judged by the company you keep. Tom, we showed you the door, it's open, bye bye! Go take a vacation. Pack your bags, drive your Jag and go South, just like your Campaign.
Terry's office was on the East side of Cicero. Why? The Sun rises in the East. Yours was on the west side of Cicero, Why? C'mon now, the Sun SETS in the West. Your Sun set, our is just Rising:)

Hey Midlo and Wondering, it was wonderful meeting and spending time with you both. Last night was wonderful! I fully expected Terry to win this but I had no idea the numbers would be that HUGE!! Nice work all blue team people. You got out there with your message and you got the job done. The bigger job lies ahead and we need to have patience while our new mayor and his people sift through the rubble that is left behind by Tom.

Frances, It was Great meeting you and getting reaquainted with Warren Vista. I was a supporter of his a few years ago. Terry knows he has our support(ya think)and now, "Our Future is so Bright, we have to wear shades". Notice how the Sun is shining today?:)

All is well for now, but what will you all say when the taxes go up because no businesses will come to town because of Crook County's high taxes. Those car dealerships won't be filled. Your only hope would be condo's and town houses with a strip mall or two to save taxpayers from more gloom.

You are right gloomy. We have to convert Midlothian to a more diverse retail trade. We need a few good strip centers along with downtown redevelopment. If anyone can pull this off Terry can. He is an encyclopedia of economic development.

I have to make mention of a very lovely person that I have recently met. Diane Stephens has a dignified grace about her that is uncommon today. She is one of the sweetest people that I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting. Diane, you have an incredible family and I know you must be very proud. I hope to be able to follow many of the examples that you set. It's truly been a pleasure!(I think that you would hate that I did this but I wanted everyone to know how special you are).

Another two cents worth. Wasn't it nice to see and meet a bunch of people whose feet stood on the ground instead of nose in the air?

And,I really think that's what the new Tartan Tidings should be called. Copyright the imaging so no one can say anything. The Midlo Monitor was very impressive. Class act all the way.
