Thank you, Mayor Gonzalez. Drug dealers will soon realize that this mayor and police department are not to be trifled with!

Unfortunately due to Cook Counties liberal justice system, were probably out on bond the next day.

wish they could stop the heroin from coming into the states. My daughter has a heroin problem and it has broke up this family. Her friends are all dead or almost dead.
So, THANK YOU! to the police officers that helped get these drug dealer creeps.

Double check that one, pretty sure they are out on bond. This is no shot at CHPD by any means. They did a great job. Unfortunately cook county has a notoriously liberal judicial system.

Article says bail was at $100,000 each (doesn't say if they posted it) and are due at court Feb 2 at Markham Courthouse. So doesn't that mean Cook County?

You are correct. One of the articles referenced DEA involvement, so I assumed that they made the arrests. It appears I was mistaken.

I hope you're right. The police should follow these drug-dealing maggots to the ends of the earth and lock every one of them in a cold steel cage!

The problem that concerns me most is not who did more or who did what in this investigation. It clearly states it was a joint effort between the D.E.A and C.H.P.D. So you must give credit where credit is due and give kudos to both of them. I highly doubt if C.H.P.D "stayed a distance away" and "the D.E.A did the work", there would be all of the evidence sitting in C.H.P.D custody on a table with C.H.P.D officers pictured showing how the secret compartments work, and the guys arrested charged in Cook County (not Federally). Everyone gets it, there are people on here who are Pro-Chicago Heights administration and Anti-Chicago Heights administration. It's pretty obvious who they are. Then there are the people who just like to poke fun at people personally but would never dare say things to those people in person. It's kind of ridiculous, but back to the main point here. GUNS! Why do these guys have bonds, or bonds that are so low? People with Mexican Cartel connections, Desert Eagles, AK's, millions of dollars worth of drugs! If you don't think a drug dealer of that magnitude can come up with 10 thousand dollars of "clean" money in seconds you are mistaken. Why are these guys able to walk the streets of Chicago Heights, the very next day they are arrested (cook county inmate search, they are not there). Where is the accountability? According the the D.E.A. official these are guys that use these weapons to kill people. What if they decide to use another one of the more than likely many guns they have in other places to kill. Who is responsible for that? The gun? I don't think so! The answer to that question is 1st: the criminal and then 2nd: the judge who allowed him to walk the streets. Unfortunately you can't sue the judge! This happens more and more but you will never see that in any headline.

Anytime you see news of a 'bust' they inflate the numbers.

Ok, kudos to "some" of the D.E.A agents that were there and "some" of the C.H.P.D that was there. Really?
