please help me find my family! i was 13 when we got seperated . there was linda, tina, robert,ralph,leon, danny, marie, trina,angle& sammy hansen. it has been 30 years since i've seen any of them . our parents names were robert james hansen sr. & linda lou (roth) hansen. we lived on a farm in park falls near the hilgarts & eitrems . i would just like to find everyone before we all get lost in time . some of the kids got adopted including myself ,so it is hard to find any family or lost friends . thanks to anyone who can help me . my adoptive parents were ervin & teresa mallak from park falls .

i am going thru the same thing . it is hard to find family when they have been adopted out. i was adopted at 18. it took me 3 years to get a birth certificate to prove i did exist. when you get adopted youre birth name dont exist . the only way you can get it is for the judge to release it. otherwise the files are sealed & locked up forever. i think it is a bunch of crap cause i am the oldest of 13 kids ,i have no way of finding them. but i will never give up. if there is anything i can help you with let me know.

Thanks...the judge actually died like 2 years ago...it is not my mother, but my best friend has been looking for years...adopted at age 4. Diane Alexis is her mother's maiden name...and she is somewhere...thnx for the response

How can you get adopted at 18 years old and wait this long to want to have direct ocntact with your blood????? I would think that would have been something that you would have secured at 18 prior, during or just after adoption.........

Good point Dennise. Usually what drive these people out of the wood work to find their old family members is usually $$$$$$.

I know this first hand. I have an aunt who does not talk to her daughter anymore. Too many reasons why this is the case but it is what it is. The daughter was recently divorced and is hard up for cash, big time. When she found out her mother (my aunt) asked me to me the executor of her estate, I get a phone call from her daughter (my cusin).... I have not seen or talked this person in 40 years!!!! She now wants to reunite with old family memebers. In this first phone call in 40 years, the conversation quickly moved to her asking me about how much money does here mother have.... Interseting question to ask me in the first conversation in 40 years.... I told her I had no idea how much money her mother had or was worth. I also told her that as the executor of her mother's estate gave me no special powers over her money. As executor, I'm only asked to work with the attorney to ensure the money is given as perscribed in her mothers Will. Thats it!

That was the last time I talked to her or heard from her in any way shape or form. So much for wanting to reunite with family!!!

I later received a letter from her layer asking me to divulge any information about her mothers financial situation. Of course I threw the letter in garbage after sending a copy to my aunts attorney. I don't have to answer any of their questions.

Money can lead people to do some of the damdest things!!! But I just can't help but remember that first conversation in 40 years and her telling me she wanted to reunite with family.. what a bunch of trash.

it's really sad that there are still people in this world who have no concept of the reality of what happens in this world. it just so happens that i was molested by my birth father at the age of 6 till 13. i was ripped away from my siblings and put tru the foster care system. i was sent right back into the same situation again. it was not my decision to get adopted. i have been looking for my family from day 1 of seperation but was told i could not have any contact until the last child was 18. so as you see ka-ching has nothing to do with this. walk in someone elses shoes before you judge them.

seems people vanish from this site when the truth is told. anyway, i would still like to find my family, adoptive or birth. i'm not getting any younger,and would like to make contact before my time is up on this earth.
