As a PR person, I dealt with Larry Feldman when he was a journalist. He was one of the most obnoxious, least professional people I have ever dealt with throughout my career. Too bad he has chosen Park City to be his home, and hope I don't have the misfortune of running into him.

I too had the great misfortune of dealing with Larry Feldman repeatedly when he was presenting himself as a journalist. He would ask for entire vacations to be comped for his whole family (unethical & obnoxious). Seeing now that he calls himself a PR guru is amusing and frightening at the same time. His name is ubiquitous with tacky behavior, obnoxious comments, and all things inappropriate.

When on-assignment for the small golf publications I have written for over the last 25 years, it is usually done on zero budget...that is, I am footing the bill myself (hotel, food, etc.) and I get paid nothing for the writing the story...that might sound rediculous, but I do this for my good friends at these publications who are simply trying to make ends meet in a very tough economy...in fact, many of them have folded up shop due to the high expense of running a small magazine...you can categorically go down the line at these publications and not one reporter is making a dime, so the only perk we can get is to have the resort provide us their golf or ski experiences at no charge to us...now, when you're talking about a major daily publication or a Golf Digest, then they are reimbursed for everything...but, for the small publications, we either get the help from the resorts or the article doesn't appear...the ironic part is that you obviously expect us to pay for everything, but you want "free" publicity...also, it's a shame that you hide behind your words without idenitfying yourself...I'm sorry you feel that it's unethical, but I'm guessing you ran to your client showing them my very positive article and taking credit for it...and it ran twice...I have been in PR for over 25 years and can provide you with a comprehensive list of people who not only think I'm professional, but one of the best PR people they've ever come across...but, back to the journalist thing, the reason why I've been so successful as a PR person is that I've continually bent over backwards to meet the requests of each and every one of the journalists that I've worked with...sorry you harbor such ill feelings...you should try to be more positive in life...or go by the old adage, "If you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all". If you'd like to discuss anything, you know how to find me.

The article in question, for which I required "free" stuff from the various resorts in order to write the piece is provided in the link below...this article was distributed initially to a circulation of 50,000 and then electronically delivered to an email list of more than 1 million addresses.

It is wonderful to see these comments about the unscrupulous, scumbag Larry Feldman. I rented a home from him and everything he "committed" to... didn't happen. If his lips are moving he's probably lying....do not trust this guy!

I was at a local Ice arena, when I see Larry with a jar of mayonnaise, while he was eating it with chop sticks.
