Forgive my grammar. I've been reading too much of the Park Inquirer. It must be rubbing off on me.

The Park Record should apologize and/or admit some fault.

They won't - but they will sure call out anyone else who ever made a mistake.

PARK & RECORD = Hypocrisy & Poor Journalism.

Show some Ethics and Accountability NAN!

BTW - the Park Record has settled some claims in the past for cruddy reporting like this - check the civil court records. I hope Crnich calls you out in court for some $$$ and a judge orders your paper to print a retraction.

Law Enforcement 101, Park City has a POLICE department and "police officers" the Sheriff's department has "Deputies" the Highway Patrol has "Troopers". There you go. And Daves, time to get your "deputies" off the comment section of the Park Record, perhaps you don't remember, you work for me.

Or you can just refer to all these different cliques as the State Security Forces, or maybe Agents of the State Security Apparatus, or even the Local Government Paramilitary, which would work fine considering their body armor, clubs, guns, chemical weapons, electrocution weapons, restraint devices, police dogs, and cells/human cages. Then again, I have seen some helping out stranded motorists, which is so much nicer than armed enforcement of civil violation bs. We citizens WANT to like and appreciate the cops - work with us, guys! We are all on the same side !

Poor corporate citizen, your life bubble was crushed one day when a member of these cliques failed to remedy your civil drama, or you were the recipient of a deserved traffic ticket, or you had the bracelets of truth placed on you for some minor tort, or given a ride too and had a stay at the local government run apparatus.

Stop drinking up the Park Record kool aid.

She lives in a fantasy world where bad people don't exist. It's next to impossible to take posts like her's seriously. She will excuse the Park Inquirer's slander, but blame the people who carry weapons. Maybe she has a point. Maybe the cops could have peace sign badges and no weapons.

Speaking of people who live in a fantasy world and not being able to take their posts seriously, have you happened to read any of yours lately, Juice lap? Typical "I know everything, I'm always right and anyone who disagrees with me is plumb stupid" macho anonymous poster. Tell me, what exactly are your credentials that allow you to deem yourself a judgmental authority on nearly everything?

The facts seem to point to the officer being innocent.

Sort of.

I still think that the cop could have cut the gal in this story a little slack - noted that it was a second warning - that he knew it was a second warning - and told her that he would mail her a ticket if she didn't get the car registered by Friday and provide proof to him it had been done by driving over to the Justice Center and having someone check it.

I mean, honestly, where's the harm? Everyone is having a hard time financially. Can't we be a little cool here?

"Mail her a ticket?" Are you serious? And then when she doesn't pay the ticket the officer can go to court and tell the judge that he mailed a ticket to, hopefully the right address (unless the motorist lied) and hopefully, I think, she probably got the ticket.

The fact that our officers have to counter such utter foolishness like uninformed, asinine assertions like this is shameful for jackasses like terra nova. God help us.
