Parkland Motel in Park City

My fiancé and I rented a room for one month and had problems with the sink leaking in the bathroom and there was nasty stuff backing up out of it. The tenants there are extremely loud and rude. Tenants stayed up all night drinking and yelling. We got no sleep!! We weren’t even provided with a phone to call the office in the middle of the night when this was occurring. We also didn’t get a microwave, phone, or a refrigerator until we asked for a fridge, but still no microwave or phone. My sister visited and was washing out a dish when someone started banging on the wall like she was being loud. My fiancé did the same thing the next day when they started beating on them again! They even went to the room on the other side of us and beat on the walls. They would harass us and call us names as they walked by our door. That night someone vandalized our car. Someone took a key and scratched the entire side of our car. We had to drive to my fiancé’s mother’s house just to use the phone to call the police to report the damage. The police knocked on the neighbor’s door who was giving us trouble and refused to answer. After we reported what happened, we packed our stuff and moved out that night. We went to the office to get our money back for the time we wouldn’t be staying there the rest of the month, and the owner made it clear that the damage to our car wasn’t his problem and he wouldn’t be doing anything about it. He made accusations that we poured spaghetti sauce all over the walls and stopped up the sink which the sink was already clogged and leaking the day we moved in. We reported that to the owner beforehand. He is trying to accuse us of damage that was already there before we moved in so he doesn’t have to refund our money for the rest of the month. As far a spaghetti sauce on the walls, we didn’t have a microwave or any way to prepare food. Every night we would go to my fiancé’s mothers home to eat. Overall Parkland Motel is the nastiest most drug infested place and I highly do NOT recommend anyone to stay there with their family or especially children. I felt endangered the couple days we stayed there so every time my fiancé would go to work, he would drop me off at my mother’s house until he would get off work. As far as the owners go, they do not care about how loud it gets or anything that goes on there as long as they are getting money every month and will rip you off every chance they get.

first of all the rooms dont come with a microwave nor a telephone youll know that and you was offer another room to start with youll wanted lower down the hall and you was also told to check out another motel youll came back and said it was cheaper you never repoted that someone was knocking on the walls because if u have reported it we would have went then and check on it were verry sorry youll feel this way but nothing was reported until youll wanted youll money back and youll left the room in a real bad shape sorry for youll being unhappy but the owner is very unhappy also

They will be sued for false advertisement and other things as the ad on Craigslist says it comes with these things and does not. SEE YOU IN COURT!

"Unhappy both ways" need to learn how to spell! I know who wrote this and those people are very clean and did not stay there because they will not live in trash as that is all Parkland Motel is. Why do you think they only stayed for 2 nights? Obviously they only rent to trash as I'm sure 99% of the people living there are nasty drug addicts and living on welfare! Get a job you lazy a$$ ho3s.

Yes, Those of us who own houses around this area are becoming angry that the owner allows meth heads and white trash to live there and run wild stealing and selling drugs in what used to be an okay little town but is quickly doing down hill fast... my property value has went down for sure.

it looks run down quite abit but i guess if you are hard up enough and needed a place to sleep i cant comment on the drugs but the people look "shady" . and if they have sex offenders there i would not bother to stop anyway but to each their own.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and have the freedom of choice..but is it really necessay to run down others. It's Park City for goodness sake not Park Avenue. I live in that area and see no big issues with the eatablishment...if you do drive through Cave City and take a look at what's going on there.
If people would put as much thought into keeping their side of the street clean as they do worrying what others should be doing communities would begin to flourish. Remember it isn't your job to judge...you are not Divine!

it isnt that bad as you may think ITS WORSE rooms are out dated staff is never there drunks everywhere thinking it needs new management and some major updates and fix the pool and it would be good to go, and they would get more business and not just the drunks and meth heads .

I know this motel the rooms are clean compare to anything in Barren county, No Bugs, If there is drugs I don't know anything of it , I do know a few retired people living there who don't do drugs, so cant be that bad , and for drunk? don't everyone Drink in the privacy of their home? this is many peoples home who pays like anyone else who rents. SO if they drink why not ? and for the Prostitutes I know of non But then again a man pays a woman in his own way for sex , Married or not , SO again where is that anyones business what goes on in their private rooms? Remember many of the people who lives there worked hard most of their lives and is paying rent as anyone else would anywhere ..This Motel and the people in it are good with each other and minds their own business !!
