I think it would be a good idea. Open up more ways of travel for those who don't have cars etc... Makes it cheaper to get around and as someone who lives in Wichita, it would be nice to go out to the burbs every so often to see some of the different shops and how the other cities look.
Classic buildings are a treat to see, that's one of the reasons I like Old Town. |

I think that given our fuel situation here in the US busing to the 'burbs as you say is a great idea. This not only will hopefully help reduce emissions as well as lowering our reliability on oil. Not to mention the money a person can save not spending 50+ dollars of gas per week just for going to work. A bus is like 1.50 to 3 bucks a day. My wife and I live in Olathe and she works downtown. If she adds 30 minutes to her day and takes the bus we save 150 bucks a month on gas money.

Sorry, I'm sure everyone knows, but I'm talking about downtown Kansas City, not wichita. That would be quite a commute. haha
