Good thing there's global warming, or else there'd be a lot more snow upstate.

Dude -- check your tagline there's no MOSCOW NY up here in the snow band, how bout checking and finding out that it's Mexico? At least you have the nearby "Parish" correct. The news is nothing if you don't know where it's happening.

It can't be Moscow. Even they don't get that much snow. Newsday has gotten very sloppy lately. They really do need better proofreaders.

I felt really bad for you guys as I walked the beach yesterday. I put in my dues in Upstate NY, 18 yrs in Liverpool up through the Winter of 93. Great family area, but once the kids were gone, so were we. Anyone know how Liverpool is fairing?

I hope you're just being tounge in cheek. In case you're not, extremes of weather can be the result of global warming, hot, cold, storms, droughts, floods, etc. Not just warmer.

I remember snow like this when I was a kid in the 50's. My famiuly lived in Sherrill, Ny. One time we went skiing in Turin and the roads looked like they were in tunnells of snow. It was at least half way up the telephone poles. We used to make our own tunnells to play in inside the drifts. Kids had great fun.

Actually, it's probably global warming that is doing this.
