Have you noticed over the past few months that Sonics continue to go up on their drink prices.
I know they have a happy hour;but, even at that time you can get any size drink up to a 44 oz. one at most convenience stores for 79 cents (all the time) Sonic is over 2.00 for the route 44 after taxes. Even Taco Delite beats the Sonic prices on the 32 oz. ones by over 20 cents per drink. The Dairy Queen has a happy hour from 3-5 with drinks up to 44 oz for only 75 cents.
Also, notice that you are getting mostly ice you are paying the big prices for.
The Sonics are one of the highest prices in the area to buy drinks.

yup. Do you know that if America stopped drinking sodas ....they would lose "on average" 20 pounds in one year.....just by not drinking that sugar water?

1 12oz can of any soft drink has 5 teaspoons of sugar. Also, 1 32oz drink from Sonic only has a 12 oz can of soda in it the rest is ice.

why are we targeting Sonic when EVERYTHING has gone up in price? Higher gas/diesel = increase in transportation costs which is passed along to the consumers.

I agree. I went thru the other day to get drinks for me and my 3 YOUNG children. One of them was a small water, two small teas and a rt. 44 diet coke with strawberry. It cost me over $6! That is horrible. The new location is inconvienient and most of the workers are not friendly. When I emailed Mark Homer about a problem I had there one night a few months ago, I NEVER got a reply. That is NOT the way to get and keep business!

of course they have gone up. So have other drinks in town. You just don't realize it because is it in your "combo price". And what most people don't realize is that before the Sonic Franchise brought back happy hour for all Sonics, our three were some of the few doing it. It wasn't required, but they did it for their hometown. And everyone can tell where all of the cheaper drinks are, but we all know that it isn't the same as a good ol' Sonic coke!

if you dont get a reply from mark then call his dad at home, i did one day at the drive through window at the sonic on north main i sat in the stall for over 20 minutes all i ordered was 2 cokes finally went around to drive through window told the girl there and i was on the phone with frank's wife molly and i told her what happened and she wanted to talk to the rude girl at the window so i handed her my phone and then she slammed the window which molly heard. about 30 minutes later i got a call from the manager tyrone and he assured me he would take care of the problem she is no longer there

Wonderufl.....maybe if more affirmative action took place within these little fast food places, the word would get around that these lazy kids need to learn how to be respectful and work and make them understand they can be fired for baby-like behavior.

Yeaaahhhhhhh Mrs. Homer!

I noticed th Sirloin Stockade buffet was over $9.00 with a Sweet tea. I knew it wasn't that price long ago and asked. The lady said it had been that since the remodel. Again I knew better I had been there since the remodel. While i was fixing my plate she came to me and said she checked with mgr and they had just went up .20 on the drinks. I said ok and went to my seat looked at the bill and that sweet tea was like $1.79 You know I understand inflation and gas price etc but come on. If the .20 had been added to the meal I could totally understand. But I know that tea bag and water with a cup of sugar isn't costing them 1/5 of that. Not to mention half of the time my cup sits empty or extremely low. I would think that price should get a guarantee of at least 1 refill those cups are not near a 32oz drink. ok I'm through griping i feel much better thanks for reading. :)

I agree! My family went to Tamollys last night for dinner and it cost us $47!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe it. All 3 kids had WATER. My two youngest got a tiny bowl of grated cheese..know how much that cost? Like $1.79 a bowl! I mean, it was like 2 PINCHES of cheese!!!! I am gonna have to stop going out to eat! Prices have gone up, amount of food AND service has gone WAY DOWN!
Kudos to the one who called Mrs. Homer! Way to go!
With gas costing what it does, who wants to wait THAT long?!

You wanna try unfriendly, rude service go to Jack in the Box. I sat and watched four teenagers talk and laugh loudly about inappropriate subjects while two older women were waiting at the counter. When one of their friends who didn't work there mentioned it they said very loudly, "That ain't my job someone else will have to get that."

I thought how extremely rude. I'm sure the person that was supposed to help the customers was in the back doing the job of those lazy teens. Some people have spoiled their children. He that spareth the rod hateth their child.

It is sad what has become of the kids and their attitudes in recent years....not all...but lot of them.

I had been a good customer of Jack in the Box...when I saw a big woman preparing my food in the back. She was scratching her nose.....with bare hands......she raised her cap to scratch her scalp with her ring finger.....then she wiped the sweat off of her forehead and wiped that sweat on her hip.....then turned around and grabbed my buns from the toaster and spun them 3 or 4 times...(like touching them once was not enough!).....then she finished up with one more wipe of her fore finger up the side of her nose. I was so disgusted....I had already paid but could not even talk about it to the manager....I was so grossed out and put out....I just vowed to never go back. Jack in the Box cooks are disgusting.....and they give out free drinks to all the black kids that come in. I did not see any white kids get big glasses to fill up and leave with.....no food purchase....just free drinks. That is what happens when you go into that place. I have seen it 100 times if I saw it once. I am not racist.....but I am prejudiced. I am prejudiced against stuff like that....no matter what the color. I just wonder if the regional manager knows all of that profit is going out the window......or door rather. Sorry, about my soapbox rant....but Jack in the Box service is rude and gross. It used to be a great place to eat....fast...friendly.....but has gone down hill....down the drain....floating quagmire in the ocean somewhere.

The price of EVERYTHING has gone up since oil prices have escalated. That trickle-down thing, you know.
