City council reconsiders whether to help health department pay for new building
The Paris City Council has changed its mind - at least for now - about financially supporting the planned move by the Paris and Lamar County Health Department into the 30,000-square-foot building in southwest Paris that once was the home of the Department of Human Services.

That is not true. City council has provided full support to the Paris Lamar Public Health Dept. The new location and upgrade to the building will be funded by two private foundations.
The article in eparis.com by Charles Richards is grossly incorrect.
The status will be explained to the City Council
