I bought a vehicle almost 30 days ago from Paris Ford. It has been in their shop since the day I bought it. I was wanting to forwarn everyone in the paris area never to buy a car from Paris Ford. They have done nothing to help me and they will do nothing to help anyone. Everytime I have gone in to check on my car they have given me a different story. In you want to be able to drive the car that you make payments on do NOT buy from Paris Ford.
Oh Yeah

I have had the same experience with Paris Ford. Not with my car being in the shop just with the service department. I understand where you are coming from, and I will never purchase a car from them again!

If it's a new car, call Ford Motor Co. headquarters and complain. I promise you that will get them off their butts. Maybe you can get your money back on it. Who knows.

The owner needs to get rid of the manager over the shop. He's ruining his business.

I signed papers on the used vehicle with 12,000 miles and still under factory warranty didn't think it would break down on me the very next day. Paris Ford told me there is nothing they could do for me but to try and get it fixed. It is still in the shop today. I'm making payments on a vehicle I can't even drive.

Texas has a lemon law, however, since it has miles on it, I don't know if that applies here. You should contact the Ford Company and complain.

sorry to inform those who think this is isolated or that FOMOCO will do a thing. We have 2 friends who bought Ford Fusions from them and one needs a transmission and NO ONE will help them even though they complained about it before it was out of warranty and the other has had fuel milage and other problems and they have been saying they cant get it in the shop for over 2 months because they are "busy"....for over 2 months? Also Friend 1 called FOMOCO and they have not done anything either! We will see, However in Paris Ford's defense it is not them it is FORD in general that has gone to hell in a hand basket over the past year or two.....

I would go to the Texas D.O.T. on 271 N. and ask them for a Lemon Law Booklet Because even thow the car that you bought is used if it still has a factory warranty on it, then it still goes under the Lemon Law,...Also, go back to Paris Ford and ask them to give you a copy of the Carfax Report and take it from there and you may also consider calling the BBB.

I agree with anon...T.O.P would never let this happen. Paris Ford has had a poor management team for a long time now. Let me tell ya a story about a letter Paris Ford recently sent out to ALL thier venders. They sent out a real nice letter to all venders they purchase from asking 10% off ALL purchases due economy and fuel increase or they will have no choice but to shop around for cheapest bidder. This is in addition to the "special" prices they already expect from venders so they can mark up for resale. I am willing to bet they would not appreciate everyone demanding an instant 10% OFF lowest price on thier autos. I understand its hard to make a profit when everything keeps going up in prices, but have you seen some of the prices on added options? Its like they mark it up 3 times their cost. Things like this is what forces our community to shop in the big cities where we can save money.

Not everyone in Paris marks there inventory up as bad as Paris Ford. They half to mark up there inventory just to stay in business. If you are shopping in Paris I would also recommend Toyota.

Yes its true..everyone has to mark up in order to profit, and not everyone marks up quite so much. Thats where customer service can out do the competitor. The local venders who these dealerships sublet out service and sales to are thriving thru this economy increase as well and in my opinion the letter demanding a flat rate discount just shows how pitiful the management team at Paris Ford really is. If we all stand together in supporting the comunnity everyone wins in one way or another.
