I bought A New 2012 Toyota Truck From Paris Toyota Breaks were very spongy at times break peddle would go almost to floor. Wind noise was unbearable. Paris Toyota said that was normal. I can tell you there is nothing normal about not having breaks. On the 2nd time I took the truck back to get the breaks fix I found a 2 inch scratch on the tailgate still the breaks were not safe to drive. The 3rd time I took the truck back to dealership I found a 4 inch scratch on side of truck! Still breaks unsafe to drive to make a long story short I took a loss and traded for a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. I would not buy a cup of coffee from Toyota of Paris!!!

I'm calling bullshit. unless you are a complete idiot, you would never have bought the truck after the test drive revealed all the wind noise and soft BRAKE pedal.(did ya see that, BRAKE PEDAL)? Any future postings defending yourself will only serve to reveal complex layers od retardation.

Lots of salesmen try to down play any problem with the car. So definitely not bullshit.

It would be very hard to to buy a cup of coffee there. All they sell are motor vehicles.

The root of your problem is you had them working on the breaks. Your have told the service writers that you were having a problem with the brakes..........then, they could have taken care of the problem.

Posting about Toyota Tacoma is not bs. I also bought a 2011 Tacoma.Extreme wind noise on windy days.Service person said they were not able to hear anything. Also brakes squeek constantly.Funny, they are not able to hear that either.

If you want a truck to play around with, buy a Toyota. If you intend to work a truck or pull heavy loads, buy a Chevy. If you work a Toyota hard very often, you won't be able to afford to keep it running. In addition, compare the prices of parts for the Toyota vs the Chevy. You will see that the Toyota parts are more expensive and the Toyota requires more scheduled maint. than the Chevy.

My experience has been that the Toyota, by far has been the better truck. It has alot more of get up and go when pulling my camper trailer or boat. I've owned my Toyota for 3 years, so far not one mechanical or electrical problem. The Chervrolet I owned was 2 and a half years old and was in the shop on 6 seperate occasions.
