I believe I also know of a case.(Probably not the same person). But not sure, I know this person was getting disability, maybe still is and also getting paid cash for temporary jobs.(All the while entering fishing tournaments, hunting, etc) I don't have enough proof to report anything, but I know he will have to answer for it, if not in this life....the next.

Have you ever heard the phrase "mind your own Business" One day you will have a disability of some sort and you will not be able to survive on a pissy little check every month. I remember fishing was a leisure sport too. Hunting is also. How they get the deer out of the woods may be a different story. Mowing the yard is not that strenuous either. With that small check you sure can't pay to have it done. Maybe you should check yourself before snitching on someone else. No one likes a tattle tell.

Just because they have a disability doesn't mean they can neglect household chores. It doesn't mean you're bed bound for the rest of your life. Maybe.. Just maybe he/she can do these things at home because they have they ability to go in and rest when their disability starts getting in the way of the task at hand. And who cares if they do odd jobs on the side.. Disability is usually between 6-9 hundred a month.. You couldn't live off that could you?

Where can I report someone who draws a check for social security disability, but gets out and does things like mowing a lawn, driving a tractor to plant a field, deer hunting, etc. It is also my understanding that he does jobs for cash.
You can call 1 800 get a life, tell them you are a loser and would like to file a complaint on a person that it is your understanding, lol...
is getting cash for small jobs, which he can, as long as it is less than 5000.00 a year. So get off topix and go to work. dang' you people are truly insane!

Disagree!! You are just plain ignorant! Unless this person has a mental disability and that's why he draws a check I can understand him doing physical things but more than likely it's some injury that made him disabled))) so there for he should be sitting in front of a tv instead of out hunting but he will be caught haven't you watched dateline where they catch people who lie all the time about this stuff and get caught? I'd turn his ass in in a second it's not fair to the people who really need it!

So because a person is disabled they have to sit in front of a tv the rest of their life? That's plain crap! What's the difference in sitting in front of a tv or sitting in the woods for hours?

And again.. Just because you're disabled doesn't mean you can't do things. You have no idea what disability this person has.

You are wrong on this one. There are litterly millions of people drawing disability who are very young and draw it all their lives. They are not drawing their money. They are drawing yours.
Seen a picture taken in the Social Security Office in Austin Texas. The waiting room had approximately 75 people waiting, only one appeared to be over 50 years old.
These programs were good for the purpose they were intended, but that's not the case now. Everybody is looking for a check from Uncle Sam. Who determined it was the tax payers responsibility to take care of everyone. What happened to the family. We are rapidly approaching the point in a democracy where elected officials who get the office are the ones who promise the most from government. That's when democarcy's collapse.

You can go online and look up the address for reporting disability fraud and I hope you do it! I see disability fraud all the time. These people can do everything except work. It is a total disgrace to our country and to the working taxpayers of this country to have to support people who can work but wont. It is another form of welfare!!! And dont give me all this crap that they can do some things and shouldnt have to "sit in front of the tv" the rest of their lives. If they can do "some things" like mowing lawns, hunting, fishing, plowing fields, then they are not disabled!!! All you people defending this on here must be some of the freeloaders living of us working taxpayers. Get a life. Better yet, GET A JOB! Turn them in!!!!

you are a person that i probley find very lazy because if you paid taxes you would deff worry about were your money is spent, and i work in a hosp, and yes so people have disabilitys, but there are alot of people who scam the system and should be told on, and if you think that a person i disable but yet can go hunting fishing ect then why dont you pay for that person and the peoson will mind ther eown business

And you dont either. I know a guy who is an alcoholic and he got fired from his job because he drinks too much. Well, guess what? He is now deemed "disabled" and he draws one of those disablility checks. He also brags about how he makes $1000.00 a month on the side. Do you think thats "plain crap"?

you are very right i went to the SS office when my dad died because of something they screwed up and not 1 person look over the age of 50, what a discrace and what a scam and you bet i would tell on anyone who is abusing it esp when i get people who come into the hosp and i know what they are in for esp for the diagnosis and what they want us to do, and i know it is for a disibility, so i laugh because they just came to the wwrong person lolololol because i dont go for that.

funny you say that, at one point in our state that loves to give free handout, they were giving people who were alcoholic disability but when it got out and enough people heard about it they put a stop to it.

No, your the idiot! If they can ride tractors, fish or hunt, then they can get a desk job working somewhere full time. Whats the difference? Taxpayers are tired of supporting able bodied people.

A lot of ppl who are on SSDI are mentally disabled so they can usually do physical things, but something inside their brain is causing them to not be able to work, usually a chemical imbalance. Of course, I understand some ppl are freaking lazy and will do anything for a free check, even fake it.

Wow! Never thought there would be so many people in favor of SS fraud! Makes me wonder if 1. they themselves are involved in the same type of activity or 2. they aren't aware that their tax dollars are being used to supplement these payments or 3. they are on the govt payroll themselves!
My husband needs both of his knees replaced, he has diabetes and high blood pressure but he goes to work EVERYDAY! I have Restless leg syndrome, chronic migraines and IBS. Fortunately I can stay at home, but I don't get any SS.
If a person has enough physical stimina to go fishing, hunting, mow the grass etc.. then they can find some kind of job, a desk job, PT job or someway to contribute to society and not sponge off of the rest of us. This is one of the reasons why this country is in such bad financial shape is because most people what to be carried by everyone else!
