Thought I would start a thread on how to have a thread or post deleted for inappropriate content.

1. Open the thread and copy the web address from your browser address bar.

2. Click the feedback link at the bottom of the Topix page and paste the thread link in the feedback form. Be sure to note in the description field that you are requesting the thread be deleted due to terms of service violations.

3. Email the Topix moderator at topixadmin (at) topix.com . Be sure to include the address link to the thread.

Hope this is helpful.

Happy posting and remember the Golden Rule.

You can also have an individual post deleted by right clicking on the permalink which is the blue post number and copying that link address into the feedback form.

It would be best to also email topixadmin (at) topix.com with the copied link also.

Happy posting and remember the Golden Rule.

It is also best to ignore the "trolls" that are stirring everything up. I know it is difficult. I am guilty of responding back and feeding the troll myself. All they are here for is to create an argument and banter back and forth. If we all ignore them they will be pounding the keyboard with all their pent up frustration.

Happy posting and remember the Golden Rule.

think it is almost impossible to get them removed on the week-end. Have seen some removed one time on a Sunday evening late. Go ahead and report it and keep reporting it. Topix needs to be held responsible if they cannot control it better.

Would you please post this in the Clarksville, Tx. forum? We knew how to delete the post, but not the thread. They have removed some, but not all. I believe it is against TOS rules to post from another forum into another one. So would you please do it for us.

The funny thing is that even if they are removed from topix, you can still google search for them and find the deleted post.

Get really close to your monitor and don't blink.....then say..."I delete you, I delete you, I delete you!"

Problem solved.....
