Y'all all should organize a protest and go picket Critical Provisions since they are the same people. Maybe a little publicity would make them pay up.
Are you serious? Do you know for a fact that this other company is owned by the same owners as Delta Home Health? I am not affiliated nor do I have any connections to any of this but I do know that what a previous poster said was correct regarding the owner passing away months ago and the daughters or some family were left to run it. The home health had been for sale since before the owner died but never sold. The Critical Provisions (or whatever the other company is called) was probably sold as well if it was ever affiliated with Delta. It isn't uncommon for Home Health companies to split off parts of the company and sell it (for instance if they do Hospice or the Advantage program as well as home health). So unless you have specific knowledge that this other company is owned by the same people you shouldn't encourage others to harass a business that has nothing to do with this.
I'm not an attorney so I have no clue on wages not paid but if they file bankruptcy I don't think there is much the employees can do to get their money. Hopefully I am wrong.

Critical Provisions has posted a sign on the door saying "do not enter to discuss anything about Delta Home Health". I'm all cried out! I serve a great GOD and I no that he will take care of me and my kids.
I don't see how that is legal. Free speech baby. I may just drop by there and ask them some questions myself. I think they have something to hide. Demand answers!

I would be real nervous if I were working for CP then. They might do the same thing to them.

Critical Provisions, Inc. IS NOT Delta Home Health Care. Delta was a Medicaid program and Critical is a Medicare program. The fact is that both companies were owned by the same woman. She died in December and the daughter was made Executor of the Estate. The debt that she inherited was huge and the only choice that she had was to close Delta and put Critical on the market to sell.

I agree that your money needs to be given to you. I can't speak for her. I know that she was on vendor hold (CMS holding her money) and that she didn't have the money to pay anyone.

I thought they were but when I called they claimed to have no connection with them anymore. There are rumors floating around about bankruptcy. They owe me over $1,000. My bills are due and school is starting next week. This has to be against the law!!! I'm going to Texas Workforce to file a complaint asap.
They are 2 companys dealing with differnt things in healthcare. cp is mainly nursing. delta was sitters, providers, supplies all paid by medicaid/care. the same family has owned them or should i say the mother did and when she died things went down the drain. theres some good people there but its going down too. thats karma!

Connie was the brain, and was ill for over 2 years before she passed. Andrea took over, but had no sense of biz, neither did her bro. They had to sell Connie's home and horse ranch, as well. I don't mean this in a derogatory way, but Andrea didn't have sense enough to keep the biz afloat, she couldn't even keep her home going, decently. Her home was repossessed, as well. However, if she takes bankruptcy, none of you will get your money. I'm not sure where you should check, maybe the court house.

Y'all...she's doing the best she can...yes I worked for her and yes my check didn't come on time either...and trust me I know its hard when you depend on that check to get by....but...think about Andrea too...she lost her mom and had all of this put in her lap to deal with, she's carrying a very heavy load right now, I know it doesn't pay the bills, but trust me she's every bit as human as we are and is trying to get things taken care of...she's always been a woman of her word to me so, just give her a little time and patience please!
