Sugg had to resign and now one in Cooper has been fired and investigation is pending towards others. Must be 'Cops Gone Bad' month!

And as in true Paris, Texas fashion...a person is always GUILTY until proven INNOCENT...which is so sad, and completely opposite of the true American Justice System. Thanks Matt Birch for making Mr. Sugg appear guilty and ruining his reputation without having a chance to prove his innocence. This has totally changed my opinion of you, Mr. Birch.

I believe what they were saying is that arrest doesn't necessarily mean guilt...at least not until proven.
I don't know why he would resign if he wasn't guilty though.

I've known Jeff for 30 years, I have never known him to put his hands on a woman. He simply restrained her as police are taught to do. He was trying to stop the altercation between ex step-daughter and his son, he didnt wan a "free for all" and was doing exactly what needed to be done. Yes, she had been asked to leave but stayed to fight with Jeff's son. Jeff is too damned nice, his ex needs to make room for her Her own troubled children, not pawn them off on him.As far as being asked to resign, he had already made plans to resign before this took place. He wasnt Heubergers "yes" man, that made Jeff expendible some time ago. Im glad Joey McCarthy got elected, hopefully he can steer the ohers in the right direction. Remember, council members, you get what you pay for.Reno lost another good, professional, experienced and well trained policeman.I bet Heuberger has had a "buddy" lined up for this position well before this altercation took place.

I've known him longer than that and if you believe the crap he's telling you you're a fool. He has hit women before and he was not planning on leaving and he never mentioned his son the night this happened or after for that matter. His step daughter better be careful or he might do to her what his daddy did to his step daughter. He blamed everything that went wrong on her and then he killed her.

You are a real piece of work for bringing that last part up about Jeff's dad. Jeff's only real problem is he's too damn nice. If his user of an ex would take care of her own ass kids this would probabley never have happened. It's weird your still taking care of your exs grown misfit kids but that's Jeff a big softy who got minipulated once again

Judged, you are a complete asshole. Why would you bring up the past. Jeff is nothing like his Dad. I know! Jeff has a good heart, he is a very loving caring person. He walked in on something at his home and the step daughter was asked to leave, she didn't she wanted to fight, read her facebook. Jeff got caught in the middle. It should7271 not have gone this far,it is really sad how small town politics played into this. Before anyone brings up something, find out the facts. A good man has had his life changed by trying to do the right thing.

How horrible that ANYONE could say or do something so cold. Jeff is not in a good spot (and I hope it comes out okay for him) BUT YOU "THE TRUTH" are so much worse off than Jeff anyday. You make scum look like a masterpiece. You must be a miserable, lonely person.

All of you people need to get a life! Who are y'all to judge anything that happened in that house. Ya'll don't know anything that happened that day and are going on pure he said she said. I guarantee half of you people don't know any of these people you gossip about! As for the people that sit there and say stuff about his ex. I know for a FACT that she does not "pawn" her children off on other people. She is a fantastic mother and takes care and loves of all of her children. Nor does she use people. Jeff and his step daughter (by the way he practically raised all three of his step daughters) got in a fight that got out of control and took actions that are obviously regrettable on both sides. People please of you don't know shit don't say shit. Didn't your mom ever tell you if you don't have anything to say don't say nothin at all? Because I know mine did !
