My youngest daughter is a 2007 graduate from Chisum. She enjoyed everything about the school and received a very good education. She attended PJC last year and made good grades and did not have to take any of those 'remedial catch up' courses. I would be thrilled for my grandchildren to attend there.

It is a good school from what I hear. Put your kids in NORTHA LAMAR if you can....if not, then Chisum is not bad.

Not a bad school. A lot of homosexuals there though in the student body. NL has the most in
this area and also a lot of dope smokers there. If your kids are racist send them to Prairiland unless they are black in which case never send them there. If they are just normal kids, send them to Paris. Hope this helps out.

chisum is one of the worst schools you could possible go to; i went there and i hated it. all of the rednecks and wiggers seemed to keep everything going, and the teachers were a joke.

You must not have been passing! I am guessing you are african american. Probably never came to class. You sound like you should have gone to Paris. You would fit in just fine! And you are mad at the teachers because they made you actually do your work...huh?

I hope you are not as ignorant as you sound . PHS is a great school if you WANT to learn. All of my children are graduates of PHS, and either went to or are attending great colleges! You are probably a drop out anyway.

I started Chisum from Crockett in the 7th grade. My grades went from B's and C's to A's and B's. I loved the school and the people who attended. I know it has grown a lot since I attended but at that time there were no 'clicks' like other schools. Everyone knew everyone and all got along.

ACTUALLY I graduated top of my class and graduated from PJC with honors. I ALSO have a 4.0 GPA at A&M. I do know smart kids that went to PHS. Brilliant kids at that. I just wouldn't want to have to worry about my kids being involved in a gang shooting. I think we all know what the majority of people are that go there. Good luck with that!

I have a daughter that graduated from there and a son still in high school. It's a small school and that's what they liked about it. The teachers are nice and helpful.

Exactly! I love it for the individual attention the teachers offer. PHS has a lot more students and that makes it harder for them to get the individual attention they might need.
