Prayers

#1 Jan 21, 2013
I am praying that this country and in particular this city turn around. People do not marry someone that you do not want to spend the rest of your life with. Too many married men having affairs and women too. So much temptation that is thrown your way. You must resist and honor your vows. God may forgive your indiscretions but a most of the time your spouse and family will not! Pray and think hard before you make am horrendous mistake with someone that most of the time does not care about you and could care less about your children!

Actually, many people aren't even bothering to say, "I do", anymore! So many living together and not thinking a thing about it. If that person pleases them for a period of time, then well and good, but if not, then they simply walk away from the relationship. What's REALLY sad is the innocent victims of such careless behavior....the kids. Someone said that this is no longer your grandfather's country....right! Society has changed drasticly.

People need to put the kids first. If you are a parent the person you date affects your kids even nothing else takes time away from them. Be responsible. Why have a child if you are not taking care of it?

Irresponsible sexual behavior leads to the birth of lots of babies. These babies are viewed as novelties for a short time, then it's life as usual for some of these people and they go on with their "single" lifestyle and dump the kid off on whomever will raise it for them. SAD!

The morals in this town is worse than anything I have ever seen or read about. Swinging, adultery, what are you people thinking? and bring up children in this. Ridiculous! Do you want your children to be like that?

Do morals include bearing false witness about your neighbor? Do you want your children to be like that?

Ridiculous! I watched a movie the other day about someone who had these glasses that showed what other people were going through in their lives.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all had those? Persecuted unjustly.....
Psychopath with a vengence......
Just lost a spouse.......
Just cheated on spouse......
Just found out spouse cheated.....

Wouldn't it be nice? But we don't know.

Morals? Treat others how you would like to be treated, including wrongful persecution.

Now, how long have humans been around?
The best response I've ever heard was, "It's not a behavior problem, it's a culture problem". Just exactly how do you solve that issue ?
I wonder how much of the same activity goes on in IRAN....
You can't have a "care less" culture for long, before someone has a bad day.

It's a behavior problem, and the culture doesn't help it.

We reward bad behavior, and discourage good behavior.

No good deed goes unpunished, so people learn to please themselves.

Example: You don't have an affair, you get accused of it, you think, dang, if I'm going to get the reputation for it, I should have done it.

The deal is though, you have to live with yourself, so you can still hold your head up against the crap that people dish out. You don't get the benifit of your good morals, but at least you know.

I can see how people would say..might as well do it if I am going to get accused though. You should benifit from your hard work and good morals. It doesn't always work out that way though.

No good deeds go unpunished.

Wrongful would be operative word. Sometimes it is true and you have to admit it and accept what you have done. Then a lot of people suffer because you did not have the ability to think past your own selfishness.

Well many won't. If I have done something, I would like to be told what I did, in order to find proof of how it would have been impossible for me to do it.

But like vague horoscopish innuendos, those lies just feed on....

If you don't do anything you are ashamed of, no one will point that sort of finger though. They have to do it that way, so that you CAN'T prove your point.

Sometimes you can't anyway, but at least you know what they think.

I had a friend the other day who was out of state and got 3 parking tickets while his car was at the airport in Denver. He tried to fight it knowing he was out of state at that time...but he owes 300 dollars worth of parking tickets all over Denver with the dates showing he was out of state.

How does that happen? Well, I'm not to sure. Did someone take his car from the airport and put it back in the exact same spot? Does someone know he was out of state and took his license plate? Or did the system somehow have a failure to put him and his car in 3 places where it was impossible to have been?

I dunno.

15 “If your brother or sister[b] sins,[c] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d] 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[e] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[f] loosed in heaven.

If you find it your husband is cheating does this mean you are not bound to him after that? What exactly does he Bible say about adultery and fortification and loose women?

Most People now days do not hold their marriage vows sacred, it is not a til death do we part vow anymore. Lord help us. It is to easy to get a divorce, don't get your way or get mad, we get a divorce. I know one guy in town that is fixing to make a horrendous mistake for sure.....look at the track record man!!

I am sure that God and your church doesn't condone divorce unless there are legitimate reasons such as physical abuse. I am not even sure adultery is one. I know adultery is a sin. But is the wife supposed to stay and forgive?

Vows are til death do us part. So that means husband number 1 or wife number 1. All you others come behind and children should be treated equally. Whether 2 or 22. No wonder everyone is so scared of the end of times. Everyone is not holding anything to Gods law.
