You definitely get more food than you could possibly eat. It's a little pricey, but you can share a meal. One meal is plenty for two.

That makes no sense to me. Why would people from La come here to open a hole in the wall and not even live here. I hope they make it cos I stay hungry and can't wait to try it. May get a few for lunch even. Is it ayce?

Ok, I have to say I was very, very pleasantly surprised. I am pretty cynical when someone posts how GREAT a new place is. I remember the little cafe at N. Main and the Loop. Someone on here just went on and on about how great it was. How fresh and homemade, etc. It was fresh all right. Fresh out of a box. Not terrible food but not what was advertised by whoever posted that crap. This place is pretty amazing. I am a pretty big guy and order the 5 pc. shrimp, 5 pc. oyster. The shrimp were huge and I got 9. They were also fresh, not out of a box. I also got 9 oysters. My wife ordered the shrimp Po-Boy. The thing must have been 10" long and on top of that, they put in a fish fillet about 6" long and 2 huge shrimp. We carried out more than we were able to hold. The cake is about 5" square and 3" thick. Huge and it was all really good. I will be going pretty often to try the other stuff. Huge menu. It took a little long for a lunch break but I will pick up for supper. Nice surprise.
