Trust me when I say this. Paris PD does a dayum good job with the dealers. I live in Memphis where police deal the drugs also. They cant just arrest them the second they find out they are selling. They have to build a case which sometimes takes up to a year. And with most of the drug dealers hear rats, they use them to bust their suppliers.

Why don't you try to treat the people using the drugs instead? Arrest and incarcerate all the dealers you want, there is always more to replace them. Convince users to find something else in life and the dealers will disappear.

Taxpayers are paying plenty to rehabilitate users. In fact, many of them are sent for rehab over and over again.

Drug dealing will stop when the US Govt stop bringing it in. Don't tell me you are so stupid to believe it's the small time dealer standing on the corner that's keeping the drugs flowing. If you want the tree to die kill the roots.

Go ask Alice
I think she'll know

Ok I enjoyed the levity above. Just open of the Paris News and read the arrest report. Meth seems to be the drug of choice for distribution...

That is what I thought to. I was recently informed that no you don't have to testify, however they do sometimes have to bring your name into it and so that the person will know who you are. Seems pretty dangergerous when your dealing with hard core drug dealers. My family is more important to me than calling Crime Stoppers. I thought that it was strictly confidential. No names ever discussed for people who give them info? As in you give them info you get a reward and they don't even know who you are... I can only wonder, because I will not ever do it, for the risk.

sorry but whoever you got your info from is wrong. it is strictly confidential. you do not ever give your name when reporting a tip or in picking up your reward, whether you call in the tip, do it online, or by texting. Crime Stoppers can't risk ever getting your name and including it in a file somewhere for risk that is some high profile case they ask you to testify and then that would ruin the whole concept of the Crime Stoppers program. You call they assign you a number, you give the tip and they explain to you how the process works & when to call back to find out if you are paid a reward. When you do call back all you give is your number, NO NAMES. When you pick up a reward, all you give is your number, NO NAMES.

it's cash, you can claim it or not claim it as income. but crime stoppers can not report the income for you because they pay cash and do not get your name or ssn
