Does anyone know if the Paris Family Fun Center is re-opening?

At one time there was a sign that said it would reopen in Oct, but I have been hearing rumors that it is not going to reopen.

I was also wandering this too...my girls are wanting to have a skating party and that is the only place in Paris to have one. I also tried to plan a party this summer and kept calling and never got an answer. Then I drove by there and saw the sign that said they would reopen in October. so any information on this would be great.

find another place, its not worth your time or money to have a memorable birthday.my little girl also had one there at the end of school year.the teenagers that was in control of our party was more interested in their cell phones, then helping our party go smoothly that we paid $150.00+ for.then in july i had a friend who had already paid her deposit for her daughters party there and figured out on her own that they was closed it took her 3wks after the party which she had at the paris pool to receive her $100 deposit back.

I dont know if this helps any - but we had a birthday party at the bowling alley - Paris Lanes and the kids had a blast and it was really reasonable. The staff waited on our party goers hand and foot - I never much cared for the Family fun Center because the prizes for the games that did work were prizes that they got from the dollar store on the loop. And if Im paying 50 cents or a dollar for a game I want a better prize for my kids. When we went to the "fun" center - we ended up taking all the kids from the party to CiCi's because they could accomodate a large group and quick. Hope you find a spot! It sure is a long way to drive to Sherman for some fun!

we also had a party at cici's and it turned out good.there was enough food, drinks, and seating.the mg there blocked our area off back in the corner so we could have a more private party.the kids had fun too all the games worked!!!!!!!!!it was cheap and worth the $$$$.

you know the pizza isnt really the best - but i dont eat alot of pizza - but the people there at cici's will get you what you want. my elderly mom likes it there and when she comes to visit we usually go and they kill themselves taking care of her. its nice to see the manager there really take care of people.

and if anyone makes a comment about my typing - or lack there of - i have two broken fingers and its the best i can do.. ttfn

Good to hear. Our town needs something for kids to do. If they would just learn that hiring a bunch of kids to run the place will never work they might be able to hang on to their business. I'm all for hiring teens that are responsible but they need good quality management to keep it going. Good luck to them and I hope their business does well!

They have a great bunch of kids working there. If you haven't been out in a like the last 3 years its completely different. It was ran by kids but now they have some very respectable and leader of the community upper high school kids working there. I really feel comfortable letting my kids hang out there with their friends too. They don't let the kids hang out in the parking lot either which makes me feel better.

They hired a new older lady to manage it. She seems really nice too.

I called out there last week because my boys wanted to play mini. golf.

Guess what?? Answering Machine says that they are closed for the summer and will re-open in fall. Why would a kid oriented business not be open when kids are out of school. CRAZY!!!
