Does a sex offender have the right to have custody of her on children. (Reversed) because all sex offenders are not males. Watch the news.

A double standard for male and female sex offenders exist. Especially if the children are in the mother's custody which is usually the case in any case. It's like males and female should have their on court of law. Out of the 300 or so male sex offenders in Lamar and Red River counties it is ironic that usually there are only 2 to 3 females. Surely testosterone doesn't make that huge of a difference or maybe it does.

If a father has to register as a sex offender shouldnt he be able to keep full custody of his daughter? He's innocent in the case that was against him because everything came back inconclusive with no evidence. He still served time in prison and about to be released and fighting thru court to keep custody of his daughter that hes been raising the last 10 years. Please help!!

If the sex offender created a child in the crime, should be have rights to that child? He has never held, touched or comforted the child. Technically, the answer is yes. You have to terminate his rights through the courts and then he has the right to appeal. Guess who gets to pay for the attorney? The victim does and the taxpayer pays for all of his court appointed lawyers and appeal process. I know this as a fact and am going through it now. I believe he should have had his rights terminated without appeal when he entered a guilty plea. He was 30 and my daughter was 14 and he knew from day one how old she was. What are your thoughts on this one.

The ONLY way I would agree that a sex offender should have custody of his or her kids is if the offense took place when they had consensual sex with someone a yr or two younger than them (as a teen, say age 17 vs age 16 or 18 vs age 16), and the other teen's parents cried statutory rape. Other than that, hell to the no! I know of a guy who at age 20-something raped a 4 yr old. His girl married him, and they now have a 2 yr old...wtf?

Did the woman know about the mans past? Several times the woman knows about his past, marries and has a baby with him. Should the mom lose her rights for being stupid as the guy should for being scum?

Yes, she knew. Everyone warned her that he was a pedophile and a registered sex offender. When ppl told me, I went to WatchDog and there he was, photo and offense. I guess she's naive. Should she lose her rights for that? Idk. I just never bring my kids around anymore.

Get real you are the real idiot because today most men are being falsely accused of sex crimes they did not commit. They are sitting in jail with no real evidence against them. These kids today are being exposed to sex, drugs etc. at a very young age and when they lie the justice system believe them. Children as young as nine years old are having crushes on older guys and getting them in trouble by telling a lie. I was on the bus going to work one morning and a group of young school girls were talking about boys and they made my mouth drop because the things they were saying and describing. This is only one example. Just think about it the music, tv, in today's society has destroyed young Childress minds. Parents do not have any control over their young children in terms of what they do or how they think and the choices they make. Face the facts too many people are being falsely accused of crimes they did not commit.

What if a guy gets with a girl, they end up getting pregnant, and the day of the doctor visit he finds out she's only 15. He was convicted of sexual misconduct and given a 10yr sentenced suspended with 10yrs probation. During the time he was in prison awaiting his trial, the "mother" was unfit and couldn't take care of the child, and since the father was in prison,Her mother was gained temporary/emergency custody. A big battle has ensued, he has a full time job a wife with a full time job a stable environment and a full time child caregiver. And all the grandmother keeps saying is, he can't get custody of him. He wasn't out passing candy out to kids, he made a huge mistake, but a awesome child came of it. Does he not have the right to raise his son?

What legal rights does a person have when takes pictures for a bank on properties going into foreclosure and has been smeared on a neighborhood Facebook page as being a pedi file when he is only taking pics of property and based on federal privacy laws can't provide any information to his purpose and has been throughly investigated by local law enforcement of his legitimacy?

Ok I understand where who cares is coming from with the whole what if he/she did nothing wrong and got blamed for something they didn't do but if they did molest a child no they don't change
They don't change anymore than anyone else who likes having relations with someone of age. You don't get therapy to change your sexual preference so how can you expect that to work for someone who likes children ( as sick as that is) I think anyone who hurts a child sexually or not should be put out of there misery. But then the poor fools who mistakenly or out of loneliness or desperation slept with a seventeen year old girl and get sent to the gallows with the depraved perverts. So its not just the sex offenders its the 'victims' to who would lie to and ruin a mans life who deserve the same as the real molesters as far as I'm concerned but no court sees it that way so to answer the original question I don't think u have anything to worry about

Maybe I'm just too protective, but a convicted sex offender, IMHO, has no business being put in charge of kids, even his/her own. Too many possible temptations, too much risk for the kids. At all costs, always protect the kids.

All states need a tiered sex offender registry. Classes for the offense. All offenses are not the same but until they are divided by the degree of the crime all are judged the same.
A young man and girl having consensual sex and a man having sex with a 4 year old is in no way the same offence.
